Everyone,

I have seen the original arto with the normal legs and I have seen the updated version witht he horrible looking pegs at the top of his legs. Is the peg version the second version? The reason I am asking is because I found a peg version with the photo background behind Artoo. I though the backgrounds only were on the early figures. Can anyone advise? Has anyone else found one of these?

The peg was the first version. The star was the correctiob. There should be no star legs with backgrounds.

I have an R2 with and without background and was checking them out now. Didn't know they had any with the star. I'll check it out next time.

That's weird, because the date code on my original, April 23rd (midnite purchase) R2 is earlier then the peg leg one!

The "star" and "peg" versions both shipped with and without backgrounds.
