Unless there is a big change, the only pics I see from the Chicago Wizard show are Teemto and the next Anakin Carded............................uhhh............ ....where's everything else? I'm not really interested in anything else there, and if I spent $20 just to see these two, well, as I said.

I have two thoughts, Hasbro really won't have a lot for us the rest of this year, hence not a lot to show us for figs. The Gunship, Arena, 25th stuff, and 8 (?) figs, some Deluxe.

Thought 2,.........I got nothing. Can someone else put a good spin on this?

I wish you were right, but I personally don't remember Hasbro holding off anything until the last day from all these cons they did last summer. What I saw first day was all I remember seeing. Some of the higher ups here may remember differently. Last year they debuted a few new things at each show. These two figures aren't even new to see, just the package.

I'm seriously thinking 2 new figures a month through November and that's it.

(Actually, after all the money I spent in the last 3 months that might not be such a bad thing)

That's true, with the money and all..... however, it will be a pain to get those 2 or so new figures each month around here. I will be having the same problem finding figs when EP1 came out. But I guess that's the price we pay for our hobby.

Two figures a month is a scalpers dream, they won't have to pick which one to buy.

There's more to do at WizardWorld than see upcoming Star Wars figs. Its primary focus (like the magazine) is comics. If you went/are going to just see SW figs, well, may God have mercy on your soul.

Wolfwood's right. WizardWorld is about comics not toys. Now if Hasbro showed up at Toy Fair with only two carded figures then I would seriously begin to worry about the longetivity of the line.

I was pretty satisfied but kinda disapointed at the same time...
I saw the final products But......
I was hoping to see more like the Destroyer Droid and stuff like that... Stuff we haven't seen...
We did see the Deluxe Anakin, and the Deluxe Geonosian, and a better pic of Watto...
I was satisfied but not completely...

Didn't really show anything that we haven't seen before. I know that WizardWorld is primarily about comics, which I haven't kept up with since the Image plague; so when can we expect to start seeing the 2003 stuff?

I was hoping someone would have asked the Hasbro guys in the Q&A session why some figures still seem to be in short supply.

While hunting down Palpatine and Puhr I still saw kids looking for Yoda. Hopefully, they're going to have some of the shorter supply figures out in slightly greater numbers for these future collectors later.

Guess I should have gone so I could have asked it eh?

The biggest show like that I go to is Mid-Ohio-Con in Colubus over Thanksgiving weekend. Of course, with Kevin Smith coming this year, it will probably be slightly bigger. Luckily, I've already met him and won't feel the need to stand in what are sure to be looooooong lines.

Hopefully everyone who went had a good time. $20 doesn't seem too bad, especially since Dragon-Con in Atlanta was something like $50 this year.
