Sir Steve has granted me permission to train you, you will be a Jedi, I promise!

Just stand behind me, and dont say anything!

DeadEye

You must be a Master to train a Padawan! :D

I've already taught you much in the Video Games section, so...

You only have to be a Knight to take on a Padawan, when they become a knight themselves, then you become a master, as I'm only an Ambassador it should be me so that I can then become a master, your already a master so you've already taken on a Padawan!

DeadEye

Yes, but I can take on another. :D

Qui-Gon was a Master and he trained two and a half Padawans (Anakin being the half); Dooku trained two (Qui-Gon and Sev'Rance Tann); Yoda trained many; etc. etc. etc.

DeadEye

Sure thing--but I haven't had a Padawan yet!

I think we're in danger of taking this too seriously DeadEye, lets stop while we're ahead.

Not trying to take sides, but since Dead eye was wrong about the rank needed to take on a padawan, and since he's already a master, then you Jek Porky. No offense on the part of you Dead eye, i appreciate all the help u already give me.

DeadEye

Hmm, like I've said, I've met "Padme" in person. :D

If only you'd show such restraint in the forums, there wouldn't be conflicts with others and closed threads. :)

I need a padawan.
Your first task will be to trim my hedges.

DeadEye

billfremore, you're a Sith Apprentice, so you can wash my clothes and mow the lawn. :D

When you're old enough to shave, i'll consider it...

What are you talking about? I shave every morning.

Man, I am so biting my tongue in an attempt to change my evil ways.

2-1B
07-08-2002, 04:19 PM
No Jonna, they aren't evil ways. If someone wants to keep propagating stories and then complain because another person offers a good ribbing over the obvious absurdity, such a response is not evil. Impatient - yes, evil - no.
Still, people are told to "take it easy" and "leave it alone" while the same tales are told over and over and over again, without a care as to how redundant or how blatant an outcry for attention. Yet you're supposed to plow through it, trying to find valuable info in a thread - but when it clutters your path, you're told to ignore it . . .
but why is it there in the first place?
I wish everyone could just be themselves, kick back and be honest. This isn't a forum to puff about our encounters or best each other, it's just a place to hang out. To be cool.
Yet when we try to curtail erratic behavior and mitigate such attempts, we're told to leave it alone, ignore it.
I don't want to ignore anyone, I just want people to be honest with each other and discuss/debate the things we like and the things we dislike. That's the way to friendship, not tall tales and embellishments.

Control, I'd exercise control, until we had um, eye contact.
