the real story is that deadeye claims to know natalie portman thru his sister and that they are friends and hang out on occasion.

The conflicting reports can thusly be explained. Caesar didn't quite get the message. I did in fact meet her through my sister--but friends of my parents are also friends of her parents. And that's the way it is.

I've always understood how bad this looks and how absurd it seems, and how I have practically no proof...I guess it's sort of a running joke on these forums. :D You guys can tease me all I want...I take it all in stride...and at least I get to be admired by gorgeous celebrities. :)

DeadEye, it seems that the only way to quell this picking is to provide proof positive that you do indead know Ms. Portman. E-mails can be forged, unless it is a true email address that we could contact her at:rolleyes:. Pictures can even be forged, as we have seen in the past. DeadEye has been making claims on these levels for quite some time. What's important to remember is that he continues to make such claims repeatedly. If he stopped talking about it 6 months ago, it would be a "dead horse" issue today.
But he continues on his quest, thus he should be corralled in from the fringe of his imagination. By us. :D

I understand that DeadEye probably has some Fanboy's Dream that he and her are dating, and he talks about her like they are ever so close, compared to the rest of us. I know it's way too hard to believe, and I know he stills talks about it to this day, but we will never get anywhere with this discussion. I know I said earlier that it was my last post in this thread, but when you mentioned my name I had to chime back in. I also think some of the comments are pretty funny and creative by you guys. I also love a good roast as well, but DeadEye will always maintain that he's dated her and his sister goes to Harvard with her etc., and we will all be asking and teasing him for proof which he could never deliver unless he ends up in the tabloids with her. I don't like to avoid threads if they are good discussions, which we are having now, I just thought in my opinion that it was time to end this one cause it will go on forever in a continuous circle. Obviously you guys outweigh my opinion so I'll shut up until someone mentions my name again.

Hell, the General section is my favorite section. Now I love SW, but if I talked about it 24/7 I would go completely mad! I have many other things of interest to me in my life. The one thing that brings them all together, though, is humor. And the General section is a great place to talk about these other things or just joke around. Thank god the powers that be let me in the padded room or I would be much more annoying to everyone than I already am.

I'm not going to take sides on this, but I will say this in DeadEye's defense: He did make me my avatar just like I wanted it. I asked him to get me a properly sized avatar of Jango decapitated, and he got me 2 different ones within about 20 minutes from the time I asked him. So I will give credit where credit is due-DeadEye is good with the avatar making.

Not trying to flame you, and I've been just joking around a little, nothing real exetreme. However, having an ego and flashing an ego are different things. I'm 3rd in Command of my Jedi Knight/Jedi Knight 2 clan, I've got cable net, I'm a frickin good photo editor and I've been called cute by several very beautiful girls, but I don't go about acting like I'm the best . Your stories are good, and you claiming to be #1 in those things can be taken as funny, but when you let it go to your head and you try to imbed it everywhere, it's not funny dude.

This has gotten too far outta hand! DeadEye, you once PM'ed me about how to become a Mod. Well, this isn't the way to do it. You have to earn respect here on the boards, not try to shove it down ppls throats! And insulting ppl because of their grammer, or spelling does not make fast friends. Nor does bounding around here thinking you are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Ultimate ladies man???? What info do you base this off of??? Your like what, 15, 16 tops???? Your quest to become the "Ultimate Ladies man" hasn't even left the driveway. If you were a decade older I might concider this. But no 26 yr old would be prancing around here like some rooster trying to get the biggest hens attention. That's what spring break is for, not a Star Wars message board! Humility is a great trait to have. Your true friends will accept you for who you are, not what you brag about. I've noticed over many many years that those who brag the loudest, are usually by themselves.

If you have any problems with me closing this thread, or anything I have stated here, I encourage you to PM me and we can talk about this in private. I advise you not to bring up the Portman thing again and just let it become a "dead subject". Although, I beleive after this, few will forget. That being said:
