Hi there my friends...i just one question:

When we post in a thread, we (forumites) automatically get suscribed to that thread, and i have in my stats that when everyone replies to the thread i suscribed i get notificated by email, but lately i'm just getting some mails and not all the ones that should been. Has anybody else noticed this??

I think this only works if you hit post reply rather than typing your stuuf at the bottom of the page and then hitting submit reply. I'm not 100% sure though. I'll let you know when you reply to this.

So if i reply from the "Quick Reply" option it means i'm not suscribed to this thread...thus i will not get notification when somebody replies to my post??

P.S. i answered this in quick reply mode

Did you get a e-mail notification from the site saying I replied ?

Yes, i got the notification of the 2 replies u made, but did u got my notification replies?? Because i answered both in quick reply mode. And if u got the notifications then it means that there is a problem.

I did not receive one when you replied, cause I used the quick reply option. I think I know why, I replied using quick reply, this is your thread so you would get a reply right ? Lets see go to the Superman Vs Batman thread and reply by not using the quick method, then got to the thread what do you thin of the new wave (Maul etc.) using the quick method. Then you will find out which one you would get a notification from.

P.S. if you get both I don't know what to tell you.

I got both notifications, so that means the problem still stands...:(

However, when I tested it out, it seemed to only send a certain number of emails, waiting till I logged back in before sending more. That was a year ago and an earlier build of the forums, but perhaps that's still it - if not, Steve will look into it so keep us up to date.

Thanks JT, Barandon explained to me how this works.

Every time we post (using the quick reply mode) in a new thread, we wont get notification by mail of all the replies that have been made in that thread. The only time we get notifications is when we post/reply in the normal way.
