All about Monkeys.
What kind you like, if you like, if you don't, and why.

Monkeys are awesome!!!

I personally like those baboons with the big "ha-cha-cha-cha" noses!!! I think they're just crazy looking! or the ones with the blue butts.

In terms of great apes, silverback alpha males look incredible. They're just raw power.

I like the Spider mokeys, they jump around swinging in the trees, and they fling their poop.

I personally liked Day Dream Beilever myself...

Anyway monkey are a riot. I remember about 2 years ago during the super bowl adds for Etrade where they just had that monkey clapping and dancing on a cooler, and then said we just waisted 4,000,000 dollars, what are you doing with yours?

My friends and I all laughed our butts off, and we were hoping to see more monkeys in adds, plus with beer, and our twisted humor we were twisting the "what are you doing with yours" bit.
Where they referring to the monkey or money...but you get the idea...how quickly the jokes turned dirty.

"No I uh heate munkeeys! Theire auwfull! I hade a munkeey wun tieme, buuh he wente and drunk thee all-kee-haul! So I bit his bluddy heade ouff!!" "AYEE AYEE AYEE AYEE!!!"

"Monkey is funky lalalala"

Resus (sp?) monkies are great. They taste just fine. Well their brains do anyway, especially when eaten from their own skulls...

I can't believe that people used to eat monkies brains. I know it's still a delicacy in some countries that are ruled by hairy arsed despots but the western world learned that it's not cool to eat monkey. Monkies are so bloody smart. Colobus monkies are really intelligent and Chimps are like our closest relative so I have to say chimps are my favourite. Especially the dwarf chimps that 'do' each other. :D

Eating monkey brains is wrong. The doing each other is alright, for procreation of course, but spider monkeys flinging poo is just funny. There is a music video, I think that the group are called NERD, and they have a monkey that poops on someones head. he he he he!

Actually, I like Lemurs better then monkeys. They just look more comically human to me. Mircats (SP) are cool also.

PS Why the hell is everyone tasting my mom!?! Taste your own mothers!

Yeah meercats and lemurs are coolest of cool. ring tailed lemurs are funny as hell to watch. And meercats are like little people with fur and attention deficit disorder. :D I like flying squirrels too. man they can jump! better than jessyboy spiderman even.

I love monkeys ! :) I wouldnt mind owning a Chimpanzee ! those
are my favorite of the apes, Ive always liked monkeys since I was
a small child, I remember going to the zoo and seeing the monkeys and the gorrillas. I use to be a big fan of the Planet of the Apes movie with Charleton Heston.

No-one should ever 'own' an ape or monkey. They belong in the wilds of the forests doing what comes naturally. Fine to adopt one and fund the care a lot of them need in rescue centers but we shouldn't ever think of apes and monkies as posessions. not getting at you matey but that's just how I feel about wild animals. You can't keep a Chimp, a Chimp keeps you. In play they can rip your arm off without even knowing they did it. Imagine three wrestlers from the WWF all rolled into one hairy bundle of uneducated primal intent. They don't know their own strength. We aren't built to co-incide with apes and monkies. We evolved away from all of that. The hardiest human is really effette compared to an real wild ape. It's best to leave them happily getting on with life and do our bit battling the hunters and the hairy arsed despots who eat monkey brains.

I'm going to try and be delicate here. There was a zoo here in the UK that I went to with my school as an organised field trip. We wandered round and slowly noticed that the numbers in the group were dwindling fast. On investigation we discovered all the kids stood round the Orangutan enclosure 'encouraging' the Largest Orangutan male to 'perform' and when i say perform I mean openly 'fiddle' around. energetically. On the one hand it was hilarious to see a bright orange ape doing something so human but on the other hand it was sad and disgusting that humans had a: made captive such a magnificent creature and b: tormented it into 'aping' human behaviour. I mean thirty kids stood round screaming with laughter and the poor ape was just twitching all over the place as he tried to please his audience. A hollow form of amusement I thought. The school had another trip to the zoo a couple of years later but I refused to go and see that ape humiliated again.

I agree with Jargo,Monkeys should be left in the wild:D :D

I cant say I like them either.Dont get me wrong, they are intelligent creatures. To me,big cats are so much more interesting:)

Jacen Solo

Big cats are neat, yes, but the underlying point here, and don't ask me why, is that monkeys can fling their poo and big cats can't.

that is the most important thing. cats don't even like their own poo. they hate it. they stay away from it, until you come along and clean up after them. if they hate it being around so much, why don't they clean it up, hmmmmmMMMMMMM???

meanwhile, monkeys are so at peace with their poo. they can even have fun with it.

aaaahhh, monkeys. so like us.

You saw Hank?!?! He's my pet monkey. He's got a cloaking device, but that's another story. He got out of his cage and I can find him.

Fast as Fast can be. You'll never catch me!!
