I noticed two different Jango Fetts at walmart last night.
One had his fireball pointing downward and the other
had it pointing up. Anyone know which one ran first?
Seemed to be more pointing up on the shelves.

Thanks!
Mark

It was pointing down first, and didn't really need to be changed, unless demographics tests showed that kids like a fireball pointing down, and collectors like it pointing up. :p

For all your variation/changes for a character, you can check out the Collector's Database...it's quite thorough.

I never understood this variation. Why change the package at all?

so that completist collectors would crave to have them both and rush to the local mall looking for one... See Hasbro knows that even if scalpers won't give them any extra money they WILL buy it for sure to sell it to some guy who just needs to have every figure tthey ever released.

Actually, I bought one of each. They are both pretty common around here. What the heck, it's just $5.00...besides it gives me an excuse to buy an extra Jango Fett.

And these do look pretty neat displayed side by side on my wall.:D

Now, I wouldn't go spending a bunch of money for one, or waste my time and energy tracking one down. But it keeps the hobby interesting, JMHO.:)
