I saw that too. Works for me. I woul dnot mind a female Tusken Raider w/ child. And of course Boba Fett. NIce.
Saw it, I don't know what to think of it? I don't think the figures will stay on the pegs for long, but we will see :)

I agree that they will be tough to find. The hunt will begin very soon. :)

Seems a rather sparse assortment for a new movie chock full of characters. Only FOUR characters for the initial run? I sincerely hope that this is just the tip of the iceburg. Obi-Wan and Anakin seem conspicuously absent. As well as any number of new and returning characters we know of already. I suspect we will see more soon, or I certainly hope so.

Okay, here goes.. This is the case breakdown for the preview figures not the first wave of the official releases
Preview figures estimated date of arrival = april 2002
Official released figures wave 1 estimated date of arrival = may 2002
The four figures in the case breakdown are intended as tasters only. That's why there's no core characters included.
I'm pretty exited about baby Boba Fett and the Tusken duo. But I like the looks of Typho and Shaak Ti also. A cool selection if this is correct. Spring seems so far away right now.......

Thanks for saving my bacon there! Now it makes sense, perfect sense. It seemed an awkward selection of characters. I too am looking forward to young Boba Fett (you know, Boba Fett, but when he was younger) and of course Lady Tusken with Rug-Womp Rat.

From October to April gives Hasbro more than enough time to give us the Imperial Shuttle, Sail Barge or Sandcrawler (pick one...or 3 like i did:eek: ) before the toy market is overflooded with EP II products.
I cant wait for the EP II figures also...:D

And while we're on the topic of Chux's mom I'd just like to say that she makes awesome morning after breakfast.

Not sure if I like this as a preview assortment. I think I'd prefer Jango Fett, Zam Wesell, a clone trooper, and R3-T7. But that's just me. :)

Ahhh, great choices JJL!!! Those would indeed make for a great preview assortment especially since all 4 of them feature prominently in the movie (especially Zam and R3). Maybe I should start a dear Hasbro thread with your choices.
