Based on the site, aintitcoolnews.com, go to booth #2606, the Xmaxhina/Phantasm set up, and tell them, 'Quint sent you,' to get a free pass for the 9 pm screening on Thurs, 08/01 at the Mall, just a couple of blocks away. Gotta get there early, but the con ends at 7pm I believe...

Ps, Bubba Ho-Tep for those not in the know, is an out-there comedy staring Bruce Campbell, that is currently struggling (apparently) to get a release date.

Last I heard Amanamatt, Bubba Ho-Tep was not going to get a theatrical release. There have been some talk of it going direct to video sometime this year. If the film does well, a sequel titled "Bubba Nosferatu" is planned. Here's a link to the website. The plotline from the official site, sure sounds unique. :)

Based on the Bram Stoker Award nominee short story by acclaimed author Joe R. Lansdale, Bubba Ho-tep tells the “true” story of what really did become of Elvis Presley. We find Elvis(Bruce Campbell) as an elderly resident in an East Texas rest home, who switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his “death”, then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack(Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds…
