I was playing around with my figures when I noticed something about POF2 and Saga Yoda. POF2 Yoda has only 3 toes on each foot, while Saga Yoda has 5 toes on each foot. What the heck happened to him?!

You know, I was wondering the same thing. It's either a flub, or Lucas went and gave him 5 toes instead of 3....

Maybe the FIVE toes give him a better "kicking" surface. Since we've never really SEEN Yoda's feet too clearly- I don't think- they probably just went ahead and gave him five toes.

Maybe he cut them off when he became senile...

But anyway, i can't remember if we ever saw Yoda's feet... maybe he does have 5 toes.

If I remember correctly, the 1/6th scale Yoda that came with the Dagobah Luke a while back had three toes also. I'd say majority rules, and it looks like the majority of figures say 3, right? Unless the older stand-alone 1/6th scale Yoda had five. Can anyone confirm this?

Actually, I can recall a few scenes where he's sitting and his feet are up. I do believe he has just 3 toes. I think he does look better with three, he looks alot less human and more unique.

Wow, what a great trivia question. How many toes does Yoda have?

Maybe if we do some zooms on the DVD of Episode II can we be sure. haha...

Well, I don't think the folks at Lucasfilm like to talk about this much, but when he moved to the swamp Yoda joined the Dagobah mafia. He had to cut off two toes on each foot as a sign of loyalty.

looking about most of the toys of yoda on the hasbro as most it looks like he might have four toes on each foot with the new saga line but most of the other look like three.

That Saga Yoda is a fake just like the episode one yoda was a fake. Neither are the real Yoda we saw in the original trilogy. That yoda retired to Reno and refused to make any more poopy star wars movies so they had to get in a double who just happened to be a midget named Herb who has strange feet.

The real yoda has three toes and is happy to sign plastercasts of them to raise a few bucks just to get by......
