If and when you decide to buy vintage vehicles and playsets, be on the look out for these accessories which more often than not, are missing from them. Even though the seller would say that "Oh, you can get that cheap on eBay or something", you probably would wind up paying more than if you got a complete one in the first place. Or if you have the luck and patience that I have, you could really get a bargain. I actually found two B-Wing guns in an eBay auction that I won for some scrappy parts inside the base of a Jabba's playset! :D

Millenium Falcon - training ball
Imperial Shuttle - ramp, windshield, side door
Y-Wing - top and front guns, long struts for back engines
B-Wing - wing guns, windshield
Sandcrawler - remote, ladder, droid elevator
Death Star playset - swing rope, dianoga monster
Jabba's palace - pipe, bowl, stand
AT-AT - chin guns
AT-ST - top gun, top cover

If I missed anything and I'm sure there are others, feel free to list them here. I almost forgot, those pesky battery covers are always missing from the electronic vehicles and playsets.

I have one more.

The smuggling compartment cover for the Falcon. Alot of people who see mine are like "where did you that cover from."

The part of the Falcon that removes to uncover the interir of the ship, has a place to put the "floor" that covers the smuggling compartment. Maybe they have to check there, but i agree with evenflow ...that part is always missing. Fortunately i still have my vintage M.F. complete.:)

Not to mention the foam "trash." 3 squares of pre cut foam, one yellow, one blue, and one black.

My missing parts are a'plenty:

Snowspeeder - clear part of canopy, both little engines, harpoon and string
Falcon - training ball and string, ramp struts
X-Wing - 2 top S-foils (yeah, it's busted!), canopy, 2 guns
Y-Wing - bomb
Dewback - reins
Land of Jawas - cardboard sandcrawler

I think that's it.

Remote control Sandcrawler - battery covers both inside vehicle and on the remote - also the antenna is often broken on the remote.
Imperial Troop Transporter - "brain washers" and red battery cover
Dagobah - foam "bog" often deteriorates & breaks away
Desert Skiff - the "rudders" have long points on the bottom that are often broken if the vehicle is set down with the landing gear retracted
Imperial Attack Base - the top panels to the "command center"

That's all I can think of that I didn't see mentioned before.

Missing parts???!!!

What is UP with that??? I was just a little kid when I got my first STAR WARS toys and I'm not missing a thing!!! These eBay/Amazon vendors must have really not given a $h1t about their stuff.

I'm glad I have all my toy parts with the toys!!! :D

Another example of an absurd price for an accessory!

Strangely, I got a POTF2 Millenium Falcon.....

the strange thing is, that somebody got spare parts for it somewhere

I noticed that the Smuggler's Compartment cover, the top guns, and one of the Ramp struts are different than the POTF2 version.....

sure enough, they were cannibalized from an original.....

but, it gives the ship character, so I think I'll keep 'em.....

maybe I'll get lucky one day, and find a vintage one cheap.....that needs JUST those parts!
