They are very nice! It's funny how they call Pimp Austin, 70's Austin, and how they call Fat B@$t@rd, Fat Man!

i'm sorry, but who would be stupid enough to take an action figure franchise away from mcfarlane? i mean, todd is supposedly not a nice guy, but his sculptors are amazing! does anyone have the scoop on why this line went to mezco?

Darthvyn, I don't think they took it away from McFarlane, just that McFarlane wasn't intrested in doing a third series. I don't think they sold all that well, cause they peg warmed in my local stores and only collectors were intrested in them. So when McFarlane passed, Mezco picked them up. :)

It's strange, but you just can't see kids wanting to buy them.

I don't have the inside scoop, but several figure licenses that McFarlane held were expected to be big sellers and came off very poorly in sales - Austin Powers was at the tippity tip top of that list. McF isn't the only high-quality sculpting house in town and the perception is that they no longer know how to satisfy action figure collectors so it's easy to see why Austin Powers jumped ship.
