Now that I've seen a pic, I have to say What a waste!!!

I guess it's cool if you never picked up that figure but how about something a little different. Maybe 2 of the older POTF2 versions w/ different heads & 2 of the new Saga versions w/ different heads.

It comes out to $4.99 each, after tax you're just paying a little extra for shipping, subtotal is probably $26. That works out to $5.20 per figure, less than what you were paying back in April, and less than the original carded figure cost.

I would have preferred the Saga Endor Rebel Soldiers. Are the weapons going to be 50:50 like the Stormtrooper Builder Set?

I don't see it as a rip off. First of all you don't have to buy them. Second of all, it allows people to have armies of Reble Troopers. They aren't going to make totoally new figures to sell as army builders, they save those for the store shelves. You guys priased Hasbro up and down for thier Stormtrooper builder set, wich was the same as the CTC trooper many bought up for $2.00. Now we get the same thing and everyone complains. Is there no pleasing anyone :frus: ?

There is kind of a differance between the two sets. First of all, you can't buy Stormtroopers in the store anymore like you can Endor soldiers. And its cheaper to buy four Saga soldiers than the builder set (And there is no shortage of Soldiers here...). And with the Soldier builder set, there is no variation between the 4 soldiers. That wasn't a problem with the Stormtrooper set because, well, they're Stormtroopers! They can't look differant. Plus with the Saga Soldier, you can get the old(er) version and the new blonde one for a least a little variation.

I do....Durring the big sale at ToysRus they were going for $1.97, and they could not get rid of them!I think these ARE those leftovers taken off of there cards and put in little baggies....with a jacked-up price!:sur:

But if you found a TC-14 or R2-B1 during the same sale, you'd have no problem asking for $15 or higher...


These are for those who want to buy in bulk. You don't have to order, these will never affect your store's stock, so calm down. Let the army-builders have their fun. :)

The blow out sale was a long time ago. It's time we let it go. Those prices have nothing to do with today. I got 8 of those guys during the big sale, that's why I don't plan on buying much more than the one set. Some people were not lucky enough to buy very many of these, so now they get thier chance. Again, let the Army Builders have thier fun :D.

They are the same mold, but they look a little darker in color wich would be more accurate. I'm glad they didn't stop with Stromtroopers, now I hope they last so we can get Rebel Pilots :D:D:D:D:D:D:DD:D:D:D:D:D:D

I am also an Army-Buildin' fool!But like Prince Xizor, I think they could have changed them a little

P.S. I did find two of each TC-14 and R2-B1, and they are NOT for sale nor will they EVER be.....they are in my collection because I want them .........I have never Bought a figure to resell at a later time for more money! sounds like something a SCALPER would do!
