View Full Version : Marmit Sandtrooper question

I know this isn't a POTJ topic, but here goes.

I got this bad boy off EBay the other day. It's the orange-pad version. Took me six hours of gluing and deciphering the Japanese instructions to get him all put together, but I finally finished him. And I have to say that it's truly magnificent!

I have only one problem: the helmet. The only thing keeping it on his neck is a piece of...well...stuffing, or something. The point is, I can just lift his head clean off, and if he's turned upside down, it'll slide off, as well.

Anyone have any suggestions about how to keep the helmet more firmly in place, without sacrificing too much neck articulation?

unless you want to glue the helmet to the neck ball thingee, not really...these are kits, albeit very articulated ones, and not meant to be turned upside down.

I have all the Star wars marmit kits and highly recommend the new Sandtrooper Sargent; you get a reworked helmet, new pads, new gun, and altered backpack that you don't have to put together!

Thanks! Now I have to add the Sargeant to my list...
