This is a thread for you to list movies that you just haven't gotten around to see, for some reason or another, yet.

Gladiator (my dad's favorite movie. Has seen it at least 10 times. We even own it on DVD. No reason why I haven't seen it except laziness).

The Sixth Sense (don't really like Bruce Willis. Plus, someone revealed to me the ending so my motovation to see it has been diminished).

Scooby Doo (I know it just came out this summer. But for someone who was raised on Scooby, I should slap myself for not seeing this movie. I probably won't anytime soon).

Shallow Hal (I really want to see it but haven't yet. Gwyneth Paltrow should be reason enough for me too see it already).

I Know What You Did Last Summer . . .

Armageddon

Deep Impact

Clerks and Mallrats (and I like Kevin Smith and the gang. No reason why I shouldn't have seen this).

Scary Movie I (saw Scary Movie II but not the first one. People say the first one is much funnier)

The Graduate (a true classic! Oh so I hear)

Gone With the Wind (I know why I haven't seen it. Frankly, it's because I don't give a damn'. . .)

Spider-Man - I missed it in the theaters for no good reason whatsoever since I have been a Spider-Man fan since I was six. I think I still have a problem with that Green Goblin costume though, too stupid looking. Although I was hyped about this movie for months and bought every magazine article I could find checked out the toys and even called the theaters three different days to get showtimes and made plans to go watch it. However, each time I would change my mind at the last minute. Finally I had one last chance to see it (it's last showing in my theater), but opted to watch Ep2 a third time. Completely inexplicable really.

Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone - My brother even owns the DVD but I have never gotten around to watching it.

BigB, you havent seen Spider-Man!? You're missing out man, lol ;)

Actually there aren't many movies that I wanna see (and I'm allowed to see) that I havent seen. I wanna see Gladiator and The Matrix, which my brother owns, but my parents wont let me. I'd like to see E.T. sometime to decide if I wanna buy it since the dvd is only gonna be out for 10 weeks.

Don't worry BigB, I'm a huge Spiderman fan as well, and I still have not seen it.

I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD.

I've yet to see Bound. Everyone always talks about it, but I still haven't seen it.

I bought the WonderBoys DVD but never watched it.

American President and Dave. Sort of the same subject matter. My Fellow Americans for that matter.

I've never seen Young Guns 2.

Recently I missed Mothman Prophecies, Dragonfly, and a few others.

Sometimes I wish I would've missed Tomb Raider, Planet of the Apres, and xXx, but that's a different thread...

I never got around to seeing Reign of Fire. I remember seeing the previews for it and I wanted to see it. Despite what some of the critics said it still looked like a cool movie to me. Now it has been out over a month and a half and I would rather wait on the video.
I also never got around to seeing XXX, which I planned on watching over it's opening weekend. I think I will TRY to go next week, but there is no telling.
As far as video releases, I have not seen:
John Q-Which I hear is very good
DragonFly
Royal Tenenbaums (sp?)
Super Troopers-yes, I enjoy stupid comedies
The Mothman Prophecies

I forgot about Reign of Fire. Lilo & Stitch and Ice Age are other movies I really want to check out, but will wait for the video.

More movies I long to see but haven't

2001: A Space Odyssey (I, like many others, will probably scratch my head after seeing it. That is what I've heard about this movie)

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (my brother adores this movie. I long too see it)

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (a classic starring Sydney Potier)

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (a wife swapping movie)

Apocalypse Now (I am a bit of a Vietnam buff (not the battles itself but I know a lot about the period) but I hear this is a movie you can't miss)

Rogue II

I'm real lazy when it comes to seeing movies, especially in the theater. I plan on seeing:

Lord of the Rings
L.A. Confidential (Eternal Padawan had something to do with that)
Evolution: The commercials looked funny
Austin Powers 3
Spiderman

Young Guns 2? Wow. Its been a long time since I saw that movie. I barely remember what happens. I might have to watch it next time its on TV.

2001. It is an good movie. Not to take anything away from it, but it seems like I always fall asleep watching 2001 and Dune.

I have never seen and have no intention of ever seeing
Gone with the wind
Titantic

Top Movies I will never ever watch again
Any Kevin Costner movie after Field of Dreams (specifically: 300 miles to graceland, Wyatt Earp, and Water World)
Armageddon
The Perfect Storm

There was a retrospective on Al Pacino on TV the other day and it made me realize how many of his early films I haven't seen like DogDay Afternoon and Serpico.

I also never saw Easy Rider.

I think I saw Legend and Labyrinth when I was little, but I can't remember anything about them, so I might check those out again.

I never saw Easy Rider, either.

I think I need to see the Godfather movies as well.

Labrynth is that "Alice in Wonderland" type movie with David Bowie, right? I remember enjoying it. I don't remember seeing Legend. That is an early Tom Cruise film. I'm sure I'll be seeing these movies in the next few years when my daughter gets a little older along with The Dark Crystal, and the Princess Bride.

I haven't seen:

Minority Report
Bourne Identity
Signs
XXX
Spiderman
Austin Powers 2
ET 20th Ann.
Undercover Brother
Shallow Hal

All of them I'd really like to see, except for Spiderman. It just doesn't appeal to me at all.

I've seen Lilo and Stitch (which is the second best movie I've seen this summer after AOTC) and Goldmember. OK, I also saw Ice Age at the $1 theater but that wasn't a summer movie.

I just never really get a chance to go out anymore. It's hard to find a dependable babysitter and I'm usually busy with school stuff anyways.

With the constantly rising ticket prices, I usually just wait till it comes out on video or to the $4 theatre down the road.

Ever'thing, don't go to the movies anymore.

DeadEye

Goldmember
The Evil Dead Series

Many, many others, as I'm sure you all know. Goldmember is the only recent movie I have yet to see.

I can't stand the movie theater experience either, Jargo. In fact the reason that I see so few movies in the theater is due to this. It takes a very special kind of film to get me to tolerate crying babies, sticky floors, inconsiderate little brats intent on ruining the film for everyone else, and the typical Playstation crowd who mistakes flashy camera angles and disorienting editing for good storytelling.

Thus between now and the end of 2005, I will go to the theater six times. Twice for LOTR: TTT, twice for LOTR: ROTK and twice for Ep3. Other than that I will try to avoid the theaters like the plague.

But BigB, there will no doubt be at least ONE other film that interests you besides those others.....I mean, there just HAS to be!!!

I really love CG Movies (Yes, I even liked Final Fantasy) but I still haven't seen Ice Age or Toy Story 2. I'm sure I will see both, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
