who would win in a fight to the death? dooku or vader?

just wanted to ask this because i was wondering this for a while. and i mean vader, not anikan from EI-EIII vader from 4-6. i think vader might because he has alot of anger and stuff. dooku would probably try force lightning, but vader might be smart enough to deflect it.
what do you think?

No competition! Vader could take Sidious, Maul and Dooku all at the same time. Ok maybe not but he could take them ALL down one by one. Vader is just the baddest of the bad!

Maybe we'll get to see this match up in a future ish of SW Tales from Dark Horse.
I LOVED the story/fight between Maul and Vaderfrom a couple of years ago. It gave a great insight to Vader. A thoroughly enjoyable read!

I think Dooku would win,He already chopped off Vaders left arm,Dooku could always do that again,and then take out his right arm then torture him,then move in for the kill.

I pick Vader also, since he hates himself more than he hates his enemies. He would stop at nothing, not even his own welfare, to stop them. (Just like how he killed Maul in the Star Wars Tales story, by igniting the lightsaber through his own gut into Maul's abdomen.) Hatred is the only thing that keeps Vader alive. He's also ruthless (cutting off the hand of his own son, slicing up Leia's face in Splinter of the Mind's Eye - EU I know, but it fits his character), thus no Sith Lord alive would be able to stop him. The Emperor didn't stand a chance against Vader, when he became determined to kill his former master.

I think Vader would win, he has bionical advantages and superior physical strength, and he is pretty strong in the force too. Plus, he has many more reasons to be angry, which gives him power. Although I wish Dooku would win... :(

What is this Star Wars Tales you speak of??? How could Vader fight Maul when he was nine years old when Maul died? Just curious I've never heard about this.

Well, the Star Wars Tales comic had a "alternate reality" duel between Vader and a cloned Maul. Kind of like those old Marvel "What If...?" comics.

Vader would own Dooku. Dooku might be quick but Vader is very strong. He would have one downward slash that could knock Dooku to his ...butt... and then he would just force-choke him or something. Vader is ruthless, as people said, his hate for himself is more powerful than any hate toward his enemy (well he could possibly hate palpy more in ROTJ but maybe not). Dooku could lightning vader but Vader knows how to block it, Dooku wouldn't be able to knock Vader's saber away anyway.

At the end of the epic battle, Dooku would probably become winded and out-of-breath. The pain caused by his arthritis would just be too much, not to mention his cataracts and fallen arches.

Anakin defeated Dooku, so Vader would beat Dooku, unless you assume Vader became less dangerous with the lightsaber after becoming part machine.
