:(

It has been a very long year for those who have lost family, friends and so on. I would like to take this opportunity to show my respects for the innocent who lost their lives unrepentantly a year ago today. :( I hope that in the future, none of this will ever happen again, anywhere in the world.

It does and it doesn't. Yes, the past year seems to have flown by. But at the same time, with the impact it's had on daily life, it almost seems longer than a year. I hope that doesn't sound trivial or anything, I'm just trying to flesh out my thoughts.

Be safe everyone.

While some feelings have gotten easier to bear over this time, others almost seem harder to deal with. Tears still come up when I hear from those who were there. A year...........

God bless all those that died and those that knew those that died

But we must move on with our everyday lives, otherwise the terrorists have won.

Andy here even though I said I wouldn't be. The sun is shining and an eery calm is all around. serenely quiet. I can't think of any words for how I feel really. Just grateful for what I have and thinking about the families of the British guys and gals who aren't around any more.

Danny here 4:10pm BST

It's been a sad day today :(. The sun is shining for once in England, and the sun is hot. But we cannot enjoy it because of the events of last year :cry:. We had a minute silence in work today at about 2pm, and then I sent everyone home, noone could work properly anyway. It's been a very sad and slow day today.

PENDO!

Watched a lot of TV today.

Stories about the family members of those lost at the WTC, Pentagon, the planes that went down.

The reading of the names of the victims.

Stories from the survivors of the WTC-- inlcluding those who were trapped on the upper floors after the planes hit and firefighters who barely escaped.

Updates from the war on terrorism.

Footage replayed from that fateful day.

A lot of rememberence, reflecting.

Silence. . .
