September 11th Redux

I was just listening to a rebroadcast of live events in NY on 9/11/01 and it was amazing to hear all kinds of misinformation. Here is the list:

The Washington Mall was on fire.
An explosion at the Capitol building causes an evacuation.
Coordinated attack on air and ground in DC.
There was a ground attack on the WTC.
A mysterious plane was flying around northern VA.
A car bomb detonated at the state department.
Third plane hit the WTC.
A ground explosion at the WTC toppled the 1st tower.
A building was bombed in NJ.
7 planes unaccounted for and heading to NY.

Scary Stuff....

I thought this would be a good place to thank Sir Steve for reprinting that entire thread. I had suggested that if such a thing were possible, it would be nice to go back and see what we all had to say, how that day effected us WHILE it effected us.
