I hit the big 30 in a month's time. I am dreading the number...

How do you guys cope with looming the ever-looming 30, 40 and 50?

nd if you've had them - what did you do?

I just turned 29 so I've already begun to think about the 30 year mark. I figure I'll invite some friends over and watch Logan's Run. If you haven't seen it, basically in the future your numbers up when you turn 30. Now if I could just find a flashing red jewel to glue into the palm of my hand. :D

I turn 30 next year as well. I didn't really put my age into prespective until I had a couple 18 year olds working for me. They wern't even alive when Pac-Man was popular.

Do we have to do anything different once we hit 30?

I believe everyone will worship the ground we walk on and praise the depth of our knowledge to all who will listen. Of course that might be stretching it a bit. :)

Enjoy it while it lasts! I am still recovering from last nights fun. Ten years ago, I wouldn't have needed recovery time at all :(.

Actually yeah I wouldn't mind trading, I'd finally be able to get a driver's license so I could drive myself to the store to look for figures!

I have to admit that the thrill of being to drive myself around at my own will has never worn off. I just love deciding suddenly to do something, whether its down the street or 2 hours away, and be able to get in my car and go.

I also love being able to buy whatever junk I want to at the grocery store. Gone are the days of me wanting but not getting all sorts of food when I when to the store with my parents. I often go for a midnight run and buy nothing but candy and ice cream. Once I ate a 1 pound bag of peanut M&M's for dinner. Being 16 was great but being older is even better.

Yeah, I'm 28 and I pretty happy about the free will it gives me. At one point I knew a band was playing in Atlanta (I live in Tampa, FL.) and they were not heading any further south. So I jumped in my car with a friend and jetted up there on a wim. Left at noon and got there in time for the show. Of course, we slept in the car and drove back the next day. However, the one thing I would go back for...... work free Summers....... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh man that was sweet!

I turn 18 in October. Everyone's acting like it's a big giant milestone, but it isn't that big of a deal to me.

You are wondering why everyone is making such a big fuss over it? Don't you realize that when you turn 18, you can legally buy cigarettes, lottery tickets, and porn! Plus less important stuff like going off to college, exercising your god-given rights by voting, the age you can go into the armed services, you can drive after 9pm (in NY state at least) and you have to register for the draft. There's never a more important where such privileges are bestowed upon you!

Butts? Nope, not interested. Lottery? Are you friggin' kidding me? Porn? Nope. :) Voting? Yeah. Military? Undecided.

I thought you couldn't buy lotto tickets until you were 21 the same as gambling and alcohol age.
