Just out of curiousity I wondered how many users are there in the forums??? I never see more then a few dozen when I'm on.

What do you mean? Number of people signed up, or on right now?

If you mean number of members, then there are 3,245.

If you mean the most that ever logged on, then there were 377 on March 10, 2002.

If you mean the most online at any given time, the number varies.....

TylerD, the 377 count includes guests as well. That's why the "Breaking the record" plans never work out. It has to be a big story day, for there to be alot of guests on the boards. 3/10/2002 was the premiere of the E2 trailer on TV. :)

BTW, Jedi Master Silas. You can see how many members there are by going to the main forum page. Look under the "User CP", "f.a.q", and "search" buttons. There is a list that gives the info for the forums. :)

Ohmigod, we're all in trouble now. There's no telling what amount of chaos this Sith bad-dude can bring to these forums. Run for the hills!

(I would have thought that that name would have been taking sooner)

Thanks for the info Jar Jar! I never knew it included guests as well. :)

BTW, does anyone remember a few years ago when SSG had like 13,000 members? Or is that number waaay too big? It was before the Great Glitch, that's all I can remember...

I think that the "13,000" included everybody on the other forums too, like wrestling and Pokemon and the like. :)

If SirSteves ever wants to bump up there membership rolls, they can always type in 'Star Wars fan' on an AOL Profile search.

To all the users that come up, they can send a nice E-mail extolling the virtues and the nice little features of the site.

How about that?!?!?

I too was amazed that the name Darth Maul hadn't been taken before now. How many years has TPM been out and just now someone got the great idea to pick that name? I'm shocked.

Everyone probably just wanted to make variations of it or someone finally had the guts to do it with everyone assuming it already had been taken.

Just out of curiousity I wondered how many users are there in the forums??? I never see more then a few dozen when I'm on.Well, right now it says we have 9,072 registered users but if you hover over our newest members name it says he's member 9,163. I'm assuming that we had about 100 profiles deleted.

You're kidding, right? Who in their right mind would waste time pulling carp like that - especially when they run the risk of being banned? :lipsrsealed:

Why is the expression "pure as the driven snow"? Once you drive in it, it's all black and slushy and gross.

I'm laughing my arse off at the new Petertar, by the way.
