Check out this shot of the new Force-Flipping Anakin. He looks like he's paying the price for having a 48-hour burrito binge at Taco Bell!

the ultimate question for a completist: do I REALLY want this figure??

Oh geez, that's terrible! Maybe that's why his cloak is that shade of brown.;-)

09-24-2002, 11:11 AM
Well, I'm a completist who doesn't want to admit he's a completist and I won't be buying this one. Offers nothing I want in a figure.

I'm pretty much a completist-I want it all and I want it now! With that said, I MIGHT buy this after it goes on clearance for about $1.00. Maybe.

He seriously looks like he's trying to crap out a backwards hedgehog! Look at the anguish! Look at the pain!

I feel for ya, Ani!

Haha. That might just be the funniest thing I have ever read on this forum. Seriously. That was awesome.

Force flipping Anakin is dealing w/ the reality of knowing that he shouldn't have been made and that nobody is going to buy him.

Well, if you really think about it, all the Flipping figures sucked. I only have the Tyranus, because it looked half-way decent (and I'm a big fan of that character), but I didn't buy the Obi-Wan. I mean, c'mon, it looks like his head was smushed and that's one of the worst face sculpts I've seen. The Anakin (as we know) is no different.

I want to know what hayden did to hasblow to have them make such 'wonderful' head sculpts of him. I have yet to see a good one. My only hope is the wedding anakin only because i have not seen the pics of him yet.

I won't be buying him. Infact I wish I never bought the Force Flipping Obi-Wan and Darth Tyranus. I bought them at Midnight Madness and when I took them out of the package, I realized that I wasted $20. O'well live and learn.

OMG! that looks like one of the special ed kids that goes to my school. not trying to be mean or anything, but that IS him.

Maybe, just maybe his shoulders are molded in a 'angle' that allows him to grab his lightsaber with both hands and then he might look like when he jumps over dooku to stop him killing Obi, but that's the only thing that makes me want to get him, if not, he's a waste of plastic !

I want this anakin, just so he can rub his bum on the emperor from the final duel cinema scene.

**My bum is on the emperor, My bum is on the emperor!**

...It looks like the Hunchback of Notre Dame with cerebral palsy. Seriously. It sucks. Burn it! Burn it! Send it to Hell!

I haven't gotten any of the flipping figures, I will get them all. They're kinda cool (I think so anyway).

Well, my Anakin and Mace figures all look like they have Bells Palsy.

yeah, I'd agree to a flipping yoda, since he'd actually flip around a lot before landing ;)

I think the flipping Anakin looks ok, the best flipping figure was Darth Tyranus, the sculpt is amazing.. it is just a statue for me though! :)

If you're still looking for these, I think $15 for the set is very reasonable:

That is, assuming you are a loose collector ? :)

For the record: I bought them back in the day, and they are, in fact, not cool.

When I first read the thread "What's with Force Flipping Anakin's Face" my first thought wasn't "What's with Force Flipping Anakin's Face?" but "What's with the thread starter's user name of 'Jango Fart?' "

I mean, that username reeks of immaturity.

settle down LBC, it was just a typo.

he meant to type JangoQueef when he registered his username. Give him a break.

I bought a whole lot of these force flipping figures at Dollar General for $2 a pop way back around 2003-2004.

Ever since then I visit DGs hoping that I can replicate my earlier finds but to no avail. :(
