Perhaps you should define what area of technicianing you mean. The term technician is sort of a one size fits all phrase really. I personally don't know any because I'm a knumskull when it comes to the inner workings of the infernal machine. But it just struck me reading your post that you weren't too specific. Are we talking physical workings or software workings? Industry or casual use? :)

All of the above EJ. I work on the internal components, as well as the software environment. I also service machines for businesses and individuals.

As per your suggestion, I will differentiate between industry specific computer technology and office/personal computing hardware & software. I am more interested in a forum dedicated to discussion of the later.

tomshardware.com has a good forum for computer techs and even those that do it as a hobby. This is a good site for most hardware related questions. Hope this helps.
