So does anyone here at the forums have any special plans for Halloween tonight?

Anyone attending any Halloween parties or 'haunted house' type of events? If so, what are you dressing up as.

Do you have children that are dressing up? If so, are you accompanying them while they are trick-or-treating.

Any pranksters or vandalizers out there? If so, then this is your night to shine. Or if you aren't planning to do any mischief tonight then maybe you can talk about special stories from your Halloweens' past.

Maybe you are going to stay home, hand out candy and/or scare trick-or-treaters? That is my plan. I will be handing out miniature Snickers munchers, Milky Ways, and 3 Musketeers bars. If anyone stops by from the forum, I will hook you up big time. :D

I refuse to endorse disposable seasonal merchandise and ritualized begging.

It seems the States are unable to keep any secular holiday as such for long. I pity the children.

well it's 2:37 here now so halloween is over for me
I stayed at home wathcing Jeepers Creepers and Evil Dead with my bro' and eating pizza
no kids were trick-or-treating here so I didn't have to hand out any candy (what do you expect of france:) )

"But what about the children!?!?!?!"

Yeah, give me good ol' Christmas where children are in no way subjected to seasonal merchandise or resort to begging for gifts.

I find it amusing that someone can get all high and mightly about the evils of commercialism on a message board devoted in large part to the very commercial industry of star wars toys and products ;)

It's only a sin if there is a holiday devoted to it. ;) Which gives me an idea...
