mm figure painting

Hi all ,

I was looking at my hoth figs(about 40 figures) and ive noticed there no detail on them at all theres just 4 basic colur and no green goggles :-(..i was wondering if anyone has painted mm figures before and could advise me on if i could just paint them straight away with out stripping the origionl paint of first (i just want to add detail) .

Also are there any websites with detailed pics of hoth and rebel troopers uniforms.

Ive started to make some clone troopers using some green soldier dudes which are just a bit bigger than a mm figure..it should be finished by tommorow ill post sum pic's.
