Does anyone know of any? I've heard someone say that TRU might have their figures for $1.90.

I haven't heard a thing. By "Black Friday", I take it, you are using the retail term for the day-after-Thanksgiving...?

I am SO glad I have finished all my Christmas shopping!!!

perhaps toysrus does have something in store for us.

the r2-d2 giveaway ends just before thanksgiving ... maybe some other promotion will be unleashed at that time.

sounds good! I hope there are some good items going on sale. I'm actually done Christmas shopping, so I'm only going to be buying for MYSELF from this point forward!

I haven't read anything other than the $1.90 figures.

artoosnews is reporting the following....

R2N reader TRUdude has written in to let us know about two Star Wars deals that will be in the Thanksgiving weekend ad. He says that the basic figures will be on sale for only $2.99 and the Electronic Ask Yoda, regularly $19.99, will be on sale for only $12.99! These prices are only good on Nov.29th and 30th and we all know what shopping is like Thanksgiving weekend so if you want to take advantage of these deals you may want to get there early!

I guess no $1.90 figures.

But $2.99 is still great! I hope they have some NEW ones!

This past week the Target near me had figures for $2.99. The sale just ended though.

$2.99 for SW figures isn't worth going to a store the day after thanksgiving IMO

Go mid-morning (10 a.m. or so) or around supper time, when the crowds aren't so bad.

Besides, it's going to be figures we already have.

Just picked up Ephant Mon today at TRU-so they do have new figures. I'll go back next week and get my price adjustment. Hey two bucks is two bucks. Better that two bucks is in my pocket then TRU....:D :D HH

I know you probably think I am crazy or whatever, but I am getting up at like 7:30, picking up my girlfriend, heading to the mall for 8:30, and going crazy. Sure, Star Wars toys probably won't be the only thing I am going to buy but I will sure be ****ed if I don't get a good deal on them or if I don't find some new ones.

I went to TRU two years ago when they advertised cheap-o EP1 figures (I think the advertised price was $1.99) and was severely disappointed. All my TRU had were C2 figures like Nute, Rune, Panaka, and R2. Nothing worthwhile like Swimming JJ or R2-B1.

I'd go for sure if I knew they would sell good stuff really cheap, like Deluxe clone bikers for $4.99 or something similar.

I got suckered into that same sale two years ago, MC. I did pick up a couple of extra battle droids dirt cheap.

Personally, I am done with my Christmas shopping, thank God. If I went to get any figures, it would be to just get figures for bodies or heads for customising jobs. Maybe I could get the new Padme for a customising head swap!

I agree with JF. $2.99 for a Saga figure isn't worth getting up early in the morning on Friday, braving the traffic, crowded stores, and probable inclimate weather in my area. Plus, Target had that sale price as well a few weeks ago, and I didn't pick up a single figure for that price.

However, I am glad to hear that the sale ends on Saturday, so who knows, if I am in the area I will check the display out and see what I can get my hands on.

A coworker showed me a website with a breakdown of all Black Friday deals. The list is broken down by store (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, TRU, etc.) and some of the early specials are listed separately from the rest of the deals.

I was worried that I would be missing out on many tings I wanted due to having to work that morning. Now, at least I know I'm not.

Thanks for the link MC.

Hmmm, maybe I will go out tomorrow. Who can beat $14.99 for an ICEE maker at TRU? :)

What a joke BF was. I went to TRU and there wasn't any good stuff to be found. If there was, the line to pay was about a mile long. Waste of time.

Anyone thought of going to stores late tonight to get $2.99 figures (Hoping moms bought all the peg warmers)...maybe they will have new figures out on shelves at $2.99!!!!!(It's worth a drive out to look!-at least-)

I just don't like this trend of KB Toys and Target not pricematching....

Wal Mart still price-matches.

My TRU got hit hard on Black Friday. I visited Saturday morning and found two rows of empty pegs. Hadn't seen that in a long while.

I went to TRU at 4.45 AM on BF to find something good for my son who has only two Saga figures. They had stocked a lot more of the first waves of figures, which I was able to snag, along with the DM/Ani/KAM/Teempto wave but not much else. I was able to get him a bunch of good stuff; even the Peter Scolari Rebel Trooper. I went back later that day to price match and all they had left were a million Zams, Super BDs, and Coruscant Amidalas. Over four-fifths of their pegs were empty.

I applaud TRU for their efforts at 'clearancing' out their pegwarmers to make way for new stuff. The manager said they received too much Saga figures because they were the third highest TRU in sales for the EP1 figures in their region. This is what stores need to do to get rid of their unwanted inventory. Slash the prices during a very time-limited sale.

At my TRU, on Saturday, I was shocked to see one figure still in abundance: Tatooine attack Anakin!

Apparently, he's not as popular as I thought.
