In theory a simple hinge like the one from the a-wing cokpit should be quite easy to construct.
The other day while making a zulu war diorama i bought some scenics ,trees etc... and the colours are just right for endor ,it be soo cool if anyone has made or is going to make some custom bases of hoth or sheild bunker which are af size.

I know what you mean about the scenics- like the one people use for war hammer which i do not play- i saw one custom playing board for warhammer that had trees and hills and would be a sweet planet
about the cockpit- sounds great i know what you mean- has any one worked with sculpy onn making an entire ship from scratch- and how big of packages does sculpy come in- and how much does it cost?

i used to have a ton of custom links in my favorites, but unfortunately most of those links no longer work :(

here'a link to an instruction sheet on how to make a tie defender from 2 tie interceptors (http://www.compsol.net/users/charvey/defender.htm). there are no step by step photos, but the instructions are very explicit from start to finish.

if i find more info, i'll post it here

oh and btw, sakay, who's a big time action fleet customizer is once again hangin' round these here parts. you can find him here, in the back for good thread (http://www.sirstevesguide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15842). he should be able to help you out and point you in the right direction
