From time to time, I run across a witty mention of something Star Wars related in the newspaper comics section or in magazines. Here is a thread dedicated to those. Please post your finds whenever they might appear.

I'll start it off with yesterday's episode of Drabble:

This isn't technically from the funny papers, but sometimes these email forwards are better. :)

As usual, Bush has that look as if he has no idea of what is going on. :D

What wrong with Sadam's head though? It looks like it shrank.

He tried to steal the Voodo man's number while in hell. What did you think happened? :D

Well, at least he has more in common with BeetleJuice now than just the smell. :D

This would be funny if it wasn't so true....

foxtrot includes a lot of references to star wars (and whatever other sci-fi films) that might be out at the time.

awwww, stilla! i was going to post that cartoon strip under a new thread entitled "The Greatest Joke since Yarna Comic-Con 2006!" i read it in the paper this morning and couldn't stop laughing.

but you're right, it hits awfully close to home and that little rocket ship probably wouldn't be big enough for our collections. The Executor perhaps!

Here's one . . . I have another that Mrs Argol cut out of the news paper for me . . I'll have to scan it in later.

There's a great Sunday strip from The Boondocks I've been looking for online for a while (I'm too lazy to scan it) of Jar Jar Binks becoming a militant along the lines of Malcolm X.

Heart of the City (http://www.gocomics.com/heartofthecity/2006/07/30/) is occasionally good for a SW-related laugh.
