Dooku's 2 Lightsabers

I find it amusing that they would not include this deleated bit of footage, but they have no problems with showing unfinished clips of it in the featurettes. So far I've seen him twirling both of them, and a second one with him throwing the green saber away. They show one of the clips when Lee is talking about how many swordfights he has had in other movvies.
It's enough to drive a person nuts, I tell you!

Nah. They possibly didn't have the footage to complete the entire scene because it could've been changed during production so they didn't get all needed footage or it would've cost too much. Oh well, at least we didn't to see it to a point, like the pre-ILM production animation of the Clone Trooper's on speederbikes. That was very awesome. :cool:

i would of loved it if on this release and with episode 1 if they had just shown extended outtakes of the actors dueling. i wouldn't care if it was with no CG saber effects and against a blue screen.

There were a few glimpses of stuff cut from E1 in the documentaries on the Phantom Menace DVD. They show Obi-Wan surfacing from the swamp when he fried his lightsaber. And there also is a couple quick shots of the Maul vs. Obi-Wan duel cut footage. :)

They should've been in the deleted scenes. Dooku with two lightsabers would've been cool!

The scene wasn't finished, it was cut early on in post production. Plus Lucas doesn't include scene trims in deleted scenes. He's already stated that in the past. Besides, they have to save somthing for the Archival Editions. :)
