Did anybody ever get that blast effect on the commtech stormtroopers chest to work?

I put mine in all kinds of water temperatures and the thing never worked! And no, I wasn't using a stormtrooper from the troopbuilder set :)

Just curious.

Sure did! I even use mine as a make-shift thermometer for my apartment. When that blast mark shows up, time to turn on the heat! ;)

Does your blast effect not show up, or can you not make it disappear?

Mine works the same way. I have mine on display in a room that is super hot in the summer time and super cold in the winter time. Needless to say, that stormtroopers don't like the winter :D.

Have you tried dunking it in ice cold water? Or putting it in the freezer? :D

It's "supposedly" on his right (our left if you are looking directly at the front of him) of his chest armor by the shoulder.

Heh! good luck :)

You can see it on the figure even if it's not activated because it's this little blop of paint weirdness on the upper chest. I had no problem activating the blast effect, just left him in the freezer for a few mins, but it comes and goes at will in the open air when you don't want it to.

All right then, I'm trying the freezer then too as it's been mentioned twice now.

Thanks all for the info!

COOL! The freezer works, quickly too I might add.

Thanks for the advice folks :)
