These are some of my favorites that haven't been mentioned. I could easily put up Resivor Dogs (Buscemi and Roth), Deer Hunter (Walken and DeNiro), and others that everyone else is putting, but I thought I'd shake it up a bit.

Peter Sellers – Dr. Strangelove
Clint Eastwood – this is a hard one- The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Escape from Alcatraz, Kelly’s Heroes.
Marlon Brando – Island of Dr. Monroe or Apocalypse Now
Robert Carlyle - Ravenous
Steve Buscemi – Tres Lounge
Tim Roth – Four Rooms or Planet of The Apes (He did a great Job on POTA, even though the movie sucked)
Robert De Niro – Meet the Parents and Heat
Christopher Walken – Brainscan
Gary Oldman – The Professional
Sean Penn – Fast Times at Ridgemont High or Colors
Morgan Freeman – Lean on Me
Samuel L. Jackson – Duh.. Star Wars ATOC( or maybe Jackie Brown)

Instead of doing the whole list I'll just drop a few names I think were some great films & some great work:

Sam Jackson - Tie between A Time To Kill & The Negotiator

Morgan Freeman - 3 movies The Shawshank Redemption, Hard Rain, Driving Miss Daisy

Sean Penn - I Am Sam

Robert De Niro - Goodfellas, Meet The Parents

And although he wasnt on the list, probably my fave movie by him & one of the best movies I think I have seen in a long time

Robert Redford - The Last Castle

Peter Sellers.- Dont remember the guy by name.
Clint Eastwood.- Ahh UNFORGIVEN of course.
Marlon Brando.- Just seen the guy in The Godfather, so there.
Robert Carlyle.- Again, i dont remember the guy by name.
Steve Buscemi.- This guy...i've seen him in many movies and its like he΄s not acting...Reservoir dogs, Armageddon, Desperado, Con air, etc. So pick one.
Tim Roth.- Was this the bad guy from Rob Roy?? If he is then Rob Roy.
Robert De Niro.- Hmmm, he has superb performances in almost every movie, but...if i had to pick i would say awakenings, cape fear and men of honor. He performs pretty good in comedy too.
Christopher Walken.- Hmmm, the deer hunter.
Gary Oldman.- Dracula
Sean Penn.- Taps and Casualties of War.
Morgan Freeman.- Glory
Samuel L. Jackson.- Pulp fiction

Thats it.:p
