Question about Rebel Trooper Tantive IV Defender

I am just looking at him now, and realized that on his helmet, the black "blast lens" bleeds beyond the border, all the way down to the bottom of the helmet. Why did Hasbro decide to paint that part black when it belongs to the "white shell"?

The same mistake happens on the Saga Troop.

Yup! It's definitely a painting error. One that I ~thought~ would be corrected in the Saga line.

I corrected one myself with a little white acrylic paint. It looks so much better!

Thanks for the advice TIE Pilot, I will remember that when I locate one for myself. Gotten pretty good with them acrylic paints.

Yes, I agree...the paint helps out.... A LOT BETTER WITH IT...
