I know that Palpatine/Sidious probably chose humans for his clone army due to the EU explanation of his dislike for aliens.

But the Kaminoans, it seems, were cloning human armies for years before the events of AOTC.

Why would they choose humans out of all the species of the galaxy? Why not an army of Rodians or sometihng?

The simple double helix structure of human DNA makes them easy to clone and alter.:crazed:

They said that they have made clone armies for others, it's never stated that those armies were humans. Remeber that Jango was chosen by Darth Tyranus to be the model for the Republic Clone army. We don't have any information in regards to who has ordered armies from the Kaminoians in the past. :)

Because it had been set before in the EU that Stormtroopers were humans and they hated aliens, since that seemed likely, Lucas went with them being at least human, too bad he had to make them the same Clones though. Alot of them must've just been allowed to use drugs at their own will and it stunted their growth...
