To top off the staggering amount of bad sequels due out in the forseeable future, I just read that Stallone is doing Rambo 4(?) wherein he will go after bin Laden.

Boo! Hiss!

Bull. There is no way that any movie company would allow that, and I really don't think Stallone would go for it either.

Where did you read this crap?

With some of the crap that has come out lately and is due out, you really don't think a "movie company" would allow that? What are they, of high standards?

The original source is the Sun, so it's entirely possible this is crap, but Drudge is usually pretty accurate. I don't see why not, he's reportedly doing another Rocky. I don't know what bothers me more, the quick, flippant, "Hollywoodization" of such a threat to our country, or the endless lack of originality and creativity coming out of our country's mainstream "artists".

i read this in my local "big city" paper a while back. i had heard stallone wanted to have it ready for a summer 2002 release.
stallone is also pushing for a rocky 6. his last two movies went straight to video. he's looking for a hit big time.

This rumour first surfaced a mere two months or so after the Sept. 11th attacks. I doubt there is much validity to it...

And what's this about Rambo being the "brains" behind Bin Ladens downfall in the film???? That alone makes me think it's not true:crazed:

They should have made Rambo IV with John overthrowing the same Afghanis he helped in Rambo III. :crazed:

Well it can't be any worse than his last Nascar themed film. :( Can it?

If this is true (Which I still don't think it is), I have a horrible feeling that it is going to make millions and millions of $$$, which any Stallone movie has no right doing. This is another prime example of Hollywood exploiting America. And why this country is full of gun-crazy psychos (See Bowling For Columbine.)

note - Sorry 'bout the language. I thought it would be cenosored out.

Maybe he'll team up with Arnold. They are both in need of a hit these days.
