Jango (sneak preview) - Red blasts come off guns?

Ok, this will be an ancient question for some I'd think.

I'm thinking to buy the Jango (sneak preview), but wondering if those red blast-things come off the guns or are they permanently fixed?

They are (thankfully) removable. They will actually fit on the Slave-1's "laser" cannons.
