Would any of you guys like to see the original cast (Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Billy Dee Williams, etc.) come back for episodes 10, 11, and 12? Just skip episodes 7, 8, and 9 and make a story with our favorite characters so that the actors' older ages make sense.

why should they call them 10, 11 and 12 if they could just as easily call them 7, 8 and 9 and put a 20 or 30 year gap between episode 6 and 7?
I don't really think that I would like it since some of the actors are *really* old and wouldn't be that cool anymore on screen and they aren't able to do awesome action scenes anymore
(and I think there are already several topics on this)

Clint Eastwood is in his 70s and he can still put out decent action flicks. Several actors like Gene Hackman, Robert DeNiro, etc. are in their 60s and can also make decent action movies. Sure, it might not be as good as when they were in their 20s and 30s, but they're also not THAT old. I don't think age is as prohibitive of a measure as you might think.

Harrison Ford was one of the older actors from the OT, not including David Prowse, and he still does some action movies. Six Days and Seven Nights, or was it Seven Days and Six Nights, whatever. He can still do action.

However, I don't really want to see them do another 3 films right now. I always considered the Zahn trilogy to be part 7-9 and I just don't think GL could convey those novels to film.

Just my 2 cents.;)

No. Let them make Episode 3 and then call it quits.

I wouldn't mind films based on different parts of the Star Wars Universe, but we will already have 6 films based on the Skywalker family. Not that I mind, but what about going further back in time to show the Jedi/ Sith wars? I love the film we have now, but there are so many possibilities to choose from rather than focusing on the same time period.:)

I also consider those early 90s Timothy Zahn novels to be 7, 8, and 9. I was just wondering if anyone would like to see another story about Luke, Han, and Leia set after that storyline. I don't want Episode 3 to be the last movie about the Star Wars galaxy that we ever see. I liked the Ewok movies that they made after ROTJ even though they flopped, but nowadays I'm sure they could make better movies than those. Some of the Star Wars comic books I've read recently are awesome (and some are not) but there are still a lot of good ideas left for this galaxy and I'd hate to see Episode 3 be the last film.

I'm actually suprised that Star Wars lasted past the Christmas Special, much less to episodes 10, 11, & 12:D

Well if they did 10, 11, 12. Then they could do 7,8,9 and call them prequels!!!!!!:crazed: When will the madness end!!!!

Possible titles for sequels featuring the original cast of the OT:

Attack of the Gallstones? A Hip Broke? The Rheumatism Strikes Back?

Sorry, it had to be done.
