Damn! I got my hopes up thinking it was 'Behold a Pale Horse' by Cooper. Not that I have any idea how they would make that work as a movie. :dead:

Disney is the company that made Something Wicked This Way Comes, after that film, I don't think there's anything they won't touch. Of course, "Jungle Book 2" comes out in theaters next week so clearly "quality entertainment" isn't the company's motto anymore. :D

I think Disney buys two sentence plot synopses. Something like "Average guy accidentally kills Death, then has to take over the position. Also, he drives a sports car." Then some shmucky studio suit fills in the rest in his head and the final product is NOTHING like the book. Which sucks, because this fiasco will turn Mr. Anthony off to making any more adaptations of his novels and I REALLY wanted to see a live action Spell for Chameleon. :( I had the screenplay written and everything.
