Okay... so here we have a look at what Target is expecting...

Episode 2 Card 1, Card 2, Card 3 for retail $6.99
Episode 2 Box 1, Box 2, Box 3, Box 4, Box 5, Box 6 and Box 7 for$9.99 - $24.99
Episode 2 Basic Lightsaber Asst. for $6.99
Episode 2 Ultimate 12'' for $39.99

Any thoughts on what the Ultimate 12" Assortment is going to be? Do you think they will be more along the lines of the ANH Luke that came out this past year- the one with all the accessories and costumes?

As far as the Basic Lightsaber Assortment goes, isn't $6.99 pretty cheap for a lightsaber as we have come to know them since the POTF2 line? I thought the Rubies costume ones ran about that price.

At least the price on Figures is still $6.99!!! :greedy:

Ultimate 12"...hmm.. maybe they're gonna mold them in one pose instead of letting us try to find a pose. :p

Actually the new Lightsabres, I think, don't make any noise, so there isn't really any electronics in them besides the lightbulb. I could be wrong though.

There was once going to be a ultimate Boba Fett, like the 12" Ultimate Luke. With all his weapons and accessories that work.

The idea was scrapped, as doing Jango Fett could lend the figure removeable helmet features and tie-in more with E2's marketing. Though if the figure was actually 2 figures and came with the 12 -year old Boba Fett, that'd be just too cool! (besides, is Kid Fett going to sell any better than 6" Anakin?)

Meanwhile, this is all unconfirmed but came from "a reliable source who has more reliable sources."

The basic lightsabers for Ep 1 had no electronics at all and ran for that price. They exchanged the light-up feature for a fully-retractable, strong blade.

The Rubies light-up sabers retailed for $4.99 and the overseas "locking collar" variants - which were WAY more accurate - sold from anywhere between $5 and $12.

Did they???

I never even SAW those lightsabers here in Cleveland. Do we have pics of these on the site?

Wow!!! I totally missed out! I got the locking collar Rubies ones for costume purposes.

I think we have pics of the basic Qui-Gon in the priceguide/picarchive, but I don't know if the Maul one is in there as well, though it is in the Toy Fair 2000 coverage with a green logo.
