What can we expect Action Fleet wise at this event. I'm guessing there won't really be any suprises, but maybe at least images of some upcoming designs. We've had pics of the next wave, so does anyone think we'll get pics of the one after, Jedi Starfighter/Mon Cal/A-Wing.

Infact, is that even the wave. I might be getting mixed up, I'm not sure now :D
We've just had Wave 4 in the flesh, Wave 5 will be the two speeders and the Spider Droid, so I'm guessing Wave 6 will be the Mon cal wave yes?

And when is this event on, today the 12th? What time anyone know?

Well, yes, event appears to be on today, now infact if I've got the times about right. All the usual suspects are doing roundups, unfortunatly I need to get an early night now, got to be up early tomorrow. Can someone post all the details about action fleet stuff, if any. Stick up whatever pics are released???

I'll check in later.

I just posted news I got from SirSteve here: http://www.figures.com/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=ssnews2.setup&category=starwars&topic=10&show_article=154

The short version: Micro Machines are making a comeback, AF minifigs and Die Cast are not.

SSG will also have pics of the AF they had there shortly.

Nice to see, the Jedi starfighter is. Its a shame though that was it new, other than the speeders and spider droid.

I know people won't be happy, but its nice theres official word from hasbro on the mini figs situation.

Maybe, Maybe not.
New MM's, possible mini-figures, Code-3 collectibles... Great program !
Today I don't care, by the moment I'm playing with my ships...
:p
Already customized a Gunship. Looks better with weathered paint and painted turrets.
Better pics soon.

Next is the AF sized Nebulon-B medical frigate...

How are you going to do the medical frigate, will it be scratch built?

Hi AndyW, you're right the frigate will be made from scratch'.
I've ordered four of these babies in Autralia from a guy called Wayne W. Pugh. He is a talentuous modeler and he has a small company called "Scale Solutions". He's selling a very few resin kits that he designed and produced himself. The Nebulon-B is sold as a set of four for AUD$60. The frigates are made of solid resin and came unpainted. The length is 4,92 inches, good enough to convert them in custom AF...
Here is the link : http://users.hunterlink.net.au/~ddwwp/main.htm
Look in the "resin kits" menu.

That looks great, take long to build? I want one! :D

Looking at that guys website makes me want to find out if he can do an Omega Class destroyer from B5!

There is no assembly required, the frigates are made of one resin piece !
