View Full Version : Medical Frigates from Australia

I received my frigates from Australia yesterday and I've already finished the paintjod on one of them. Here are the first scans of the resin cast and the finished model. The Rebel red stripes and windows are made by using spare decals from the Fine Molds X-Wing fighter. The resin is very fragile but easy to work with and Wayne P. sent them to me very well packed. One or two of them will be good friends for my futur Mon Cal cruiser

Thanks !

Price is 60.00 AUD for a lot of four. It's a price in Australian dollars.
Conversion :
The total sent was 45,38 Euros including change rates & postal tax for a lot of four (shipping included). Then it will cost you : 11.35 Euros (same price in US dollars) for one frigate.

Hi Glitch.
Exact size is 4.92 inches in length.

Very cool! If this were an AF, where do you think the stand would go, or would it require a specialty stand like the Imp Shuttle or the AT-AT?

I think the stand can be placed on the middle of the fregate no ?

But I think a speciam desplay stand can be better, like for AT AT.

I agree, the AF stand may be a little big for the frigate. I have prepared one for a test. Once the painting job is finished, i will use a Dremel to make the hole under the ship... Got to light a candle because the resin is fragile like cristal. A custom stand should be better I think.

Happy easter !
