Check it out, A sweet looking 18' inch Jason.
This will go great with the 18' Movie Maniacs line, I'll be getting one for sure (as well as the 18' Pinhead that's coming)!
Very cool !
So it's meant to be from Part 7 I presume ?
(due to the chain around his neck, exposed ribcage, etc.)
Very nice job on the crooked jaw, VERY movie-like. :)
Who is releasing that 12" Jason from Part 3 ?
I saw a link somewhere last night, that's a nice looking figure, too. :) I think it's cool that these different companies are covering different periods in the series.
Now they need to do a figure from Part 2 with that sack over hsi head ! :D

gonna be one tall figure at 18 feet. but then i read the press release and saw that at 18 inches he'll still tower over the foolish luke battling him with lightsaber.
love the new avatar and sig Caesar.

ha ha, whoops!
I think the upcoming 12" is from Sideshow toys, not positive though...
Yep, you are right - it's from Sideshow :)
I think he looks pretty good, I bet he'll blend in well with my 12" Star Wars collection. :D
If you scroll down a bit, they show him unmasked as well. :)

The 18" Jason does look cool. There's a lot of extra detail in it. Can't wait to see it on the shelves. Looks like this company beat McFarlane to it.

I love the look of that fig, I've waited about 4 years for an 18inch Jason (since Mcfarlane released their first 18inchers, Freddy and Myers) and now finally one is being made, and it looks pretty cool too
if I have enough money and the price is right, I'll definitly get him when he comes out:)

tfaw.com (dark horse comics on-line distributor) has this for pre-order with a ship date of september. currently offering 10% off so price is 35.99.
makes the 18" version cheaper than 12" version (on pre-order at sideshowtoy.com) at $40.

Neca is really blowing me away with their remarkable sculpting and painting details on their figure lines. It's officially my favorite toy company of 2003, thanks to it's amazing Hellraiser line. And with the 18" Jason and the Gremlins line that is coming, they are proving to be a real powerhouse in the industry. :)

juyst for fun, here is another pic of his face, with the eye visible through the mask

got my jason figure today. he looks amazing out of the box. for a figure that size he's well-balanced and stands on his own fine. the addition of the sound effects causes some problems with the details on his back, gotta allow for the speaker holes and on/off switch.
the face is well detailed, but jason is really jason when he's got his mask on. comes with 3 weapons - axe, machete and harpoon.
all in all a great figure.

I saw the 12" Jason and Freddy at a collector shop yesterday. They both look great, but at 40 each, they will have to wait.
