"Newly discovered"? Uh, yeah. I didn't realize that it was big secret. :sur:

Yeah that's been known ever since it came out, how is this new?..

For people who think me and Stilla are crazy talking about nothing look at the article on the front page by the same name. ;)

I must admit I did wonder what you were on about!

I could have sworn that this newly discovered feature was referred to on the box. I guess I could have just read about it in a review somewhere instead.

"Discovered" in the way that Columbus "discovered" America, perhaps :)

I'm sure those million or so natives loved being "found" not knowing they were ever lost :)

I knew about the compartment too. I think I read about it right here on the forums. Did anybody get more than one of the new x-wings? I got one with plans on getting at least two more, but they are just to big. I am glad I have one saga x-wing, but I still like my little ones from POTF2.

I never knew about it. I was wondering what you were supposed to do with all that stuff that came with it. If it was on the box, then I missed it.

Rebelscum showed it in their picture archive at the time of release or prior. And I recall several discussions here that mentioned it. I think Artoosnews also have it shown pictorially in their archive.

Man when I saw that you Stillakid posted about it, I was like wait a minute, but then I read it. How lame is this. Some stuff that is way more important never sees the light of day and this gets the front page. :)

I'm also wandering how this made front page news on this site, especially this far after the fact. It's gotta be a slow news day, or hmmmm...

Star Wars collectible news is very slow these days... someone submitted the news article so we decided to go ahead and ok it since the person took the time to write the article and take a picture.

I bought 3 of them. Couldn't help myself. Besides, I had to put Porkins, Wedge, and XWing Luke somewhere.

That is what I was going to do, but porkins just didn't fit. I thought that was so lame, why make a pilot figure that can't pilot anything? So good old Jek is sitting in a snow speeder right now. It is the only thing that offers him up some room to close the canopy.

That's a documented feature. This one is like a DVD Easter Egg.

I didn't do it, but maybe shaving a couple cm off his butt would help. :D

But yeah, the cockpit doesn't quite shut all the way. Since he explodes anyway, I figure that any airleaks are okay for awhile.

Yep, for me the debate is always on. Should I pick up some more or not. If I remember right, I was considering cutting jek in half or something to get him to fit, but I think that is where it ended for me. Have you ever tried to cut up a Star Wars figure?? Sheesh, those things are built to last! I cut my self up pretty good trying to do a custom. I guess for jek I would need a hacksaw.

Yeah, I'd read about this somewhere else too, I guess.

It is so slow in the collecting world lately. I haven't seen a new fig on the pegs since january. Not saying that the hobby is dead --- but lately I sure as heck can't find a pulse and I'm so deserately looking for one.

You think it's bad now? There's still one more movie left. Just wait until there are no more films to be made. Despite this constant background hum that Hasbro has continued the license until 2008 or something, this dryspell is only a taste of what is to come after Episode III has left the theaters. Buy 'em while you can.

Hey kid, I think it's 2018, LOL. I think what will happen is Hasbro will release a new line every 2-3 years and we will probably only see 1 or 2 waves from each, because they will fale. No movies in sight = no toys. I guess there isn't enough collectors out there. The DVD release of the OT is our only hope and maybe future anniversaries.
