..Still tastes great!Last night I was digging around in my Grandmas pantry and found a old lemonade Kool-Aid box with the little packets still inside. After considering the worst thing that could happen was for me to throw it up,I made Kool-Aid(a real art).I am actually suprised it was in powdered form.I wonder how long this stuff lasts?Any idea?:crazed: :crazed:

I believe the radioactive isotope "kool-aid '89" has a half life of approximately 250,000 years. :D

You can pass it on down for many generations to come.

You could probably let your grandkids lick your kidneys in 50 years and still have full flavor.

I think since it was in a sealed bag and it's already dry theres nothing that can really go wrong with it, and yet I think everyone looks it over when making supplies for stuff. Forget canned goods, we need koolaid! :crazed:

You want long shelf life, go with a nice bag of sugar. :D Its a known fact that sugar will never spoil as long as it doesn't get wet.

I think that is the case with everything. Bacteria can't live in an enviroment with no water.

No doubt. That was some of the worst gum I have ever chewed. The worst was all that sugar on it and the Mackey Sasser cards.

Deoxyribonucleic, do you mean lemon-lime Kool-Aid? I've never seen just lime but they have lemon-lime all over here.

1989 Kool-Aid. Ha that's nothing. Last year I bought a package of Topps Baseball cards from 1986 for a dollar. And I chewed the gum. Well the "gum" broke down into a chalky paste. It was gross. But I can even beat that. Last month I was cleaning out my parents basement when I came upon my Dad's college text books. In the box was a six pack of sealed bottles of coke. I showed them to my dad who immediately went for the bottle opener. Yep, we drank coke from around 1960. It was horrible. But I haven't gotten sick yet.

Was the soda flat and nasty? I bet it was.

It actually fizzed when we opened them. We decided that since that carbonation was still good, nothing must have gotten into the bottles. It was really bad, though. Tough to describe. Kinda like the ingrediants completely seperated and formed a new flavor. I wonder if that is how "New Coke" was made. Any way, we had to taste them, but it was really aweful.

You were very brave. I wouldn't want to put old soda down my gullet, for fear it might burn my vocal chords and everything else as it passed through me.

Mt. Everest is easy. You just pay the Shirpas $65k and they drag up up. Now K-2, that's hard.

I don't know about cat urine, but I knew a kid at overnight camp that actually ate his own @%!$ for $50 bucks. It was pretty sick.
