A few years ago I won a Lego R2-D2 at a local Target. I have looked on ebay to see what they go for but they are never on it when I check. Does anyone have any idea what this is wroth?

I've seen 'em go for around $40 to $75 depending on the market.

Is a pic posted in the collector archive? I don't know what you are talking about and I would like to see. :)

I'll snoop around . . .

I'm afraid not, there's a few in the old Features, but they're not accessible right now.

So this isn't the Technics R2-D2 I take it. I'd love to see a picture of the one you won Banky.

Not at all like the Technic one, it's similar to the Yoda sculpture set (which itself was based on another giveaway like this R2), all blocks and hollow inside, over a foot tall.

As a collector, I don't place a monetary value on any of my collection, except for insurance purposes. I don't know if you e-mailed the company that makes Lego's if they could give you the answer you seek. That is one cool looking R2. How big is it?

BTW JediTricks, whenever I read your posts, I have the proffesors voice reading it to me in my head. It's halarious, I'm loving it!

I think it had a prize value of like $50, unfortunately that was listed on the entry sheet and I put all that info in with the pics that are currently in the old SSG archives, so I can only go on memory there. :(

Glad you dig my new avatar, every time I see it, I hear the Prof slack-jawed gawking at something I said. :D

A-what? (my favorite line of P. Farnsworth)

I'd love to win one of the Vaders or Jango Fetts I have seen on display, or the displays they had up at CII a little over a year ago.

Not sure how big it is off hand, look at the pic. Its taller than those DVD/Video game cases next to it :) When I get back home I need to get a size. I would like to find a cool glass case for it.
