SirSteve, I like the new forum format, but the homepage field is too short to hold the link to my SirSteve's Guide Collection page. Could you consider allowing homepage URLs at least as long as this:
http://209.197.117.27/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=sscollections2.setup&category=starwars&topic=70&search_and_display_db_button=yes
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, it IS a link to an SSG page after all.

(btw would you prefer that, or maybe "ss"? sirsteve's just too Hard 4me2 type :o :p )
re retroediting, jt sez i should bring my aug 16 post here (http://www.sirstevesguide.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=7&pagenumber=1) to your attn, and since i'm a good boy i do what i'm told ;) if thread deletions are the concern, i assume it isn't programmatically practical to simply designate a thred's initial post ineligible for author deletion? or, maybe only allowing editings/deletions to thred-initiating posts that have accrued no replies?

I'll have to look at the code as it is not an admin option.

Made it to accept longer URL's. I just have to fix the save option now.
