Notice the Yellow clone has a viewfinder, the green set has a WHITE clone with the viewfinder. (Same mold as Yellow Commander but in white uniform.) The Green Clone is the KNEELING one. Blue we all konw by now is the standard "Standing" one. Finally the Red clone is in the prone (or laying on his belly) position. Same as the one in the 3 pack of White clones.

Thanks for posting those jedi master sal. I have been wanting to see all of the different colored ones. I had only seen yellow and blue. I think they are all awsome especially the green and blue. I wonder when these will come out. I wonder if they will start coming in cases of there own, or if they will just be a color variant one to a case and so hard to find its not funny. I know there are the army builders out now, but not in big amounts. They need to just overflow the shelves with these things, because I dont know about you guys, but I want a huge freakin army. So they need to overflow with these, instead of overflowing with stuff from last year

I like these color packs. Hopefully they wouldn't be too hard to find or shortpacked.
Although odds are they'll be packaged one per case, making them rare and scalpor material. Let's hope not.
Inluding the 3 white, there'd be 5 different sets. It's be a good way to make an instant army of 15, just from the Clone Wars amry building line. Sweet!

Unfortunately my friends, it appears that they are indeed short-packed. In what particular quantity, to that I am not sure yet, but they are short-packed. So, if you see them, get them or you might not again. (Take this with a grain of salt, as we know Hasbro has a way of changing things up on us.)

D'oh, I just heard what the case assortment and distribution is supposed to be like for these guys as well as the 3 pack of Jedi. (It only rumored so far so we'll have to see.)

Now that's ridiculous.

I'd have rather seen a 3pack of officers with 1 Yellow, 1 Blue and 1 Green.

All standing or maybe the Yellow with the binoculars.

Also the distribution could have been a little more fair like this:

Is it as obvious to you guys as it is to me that the Destroyer droid set is going to be the biggest pegwarmer of the bunch?

I think so. We don't need any more frickin' Destroyer Droids!

The clones are going to sell well no matter what. Having a pack of officers makes it easier for the average collector/kid/UBER collector.

Also, I', still upset with the 3 pack of droids. It should have been 3 Red or 2 red and 1 super. NO MORE Destroyer DROIDS! Please!!!! THEY WERE NOT SEEN AS MUCH IN THE MOVIE AS THE RED BATTLE DROID OR EVEN THE SUPER BATTLE DROID!

Okay, sorry for that last rant fellows. That's directed to the manufacturer. They had a golden opportunity and squandered it as usual. I know it's going to be a real pain in the arse to find the Jedi and Color Variant Clones. At least they should ship 2 to a case instead of 1.

This means that over 16 cases you get the following sets-(And that's if they distribute them PERFECTLY EVEN, ha like that's going to happen) (This is how many case you would need to get to get all of the variations):

32 sets of Seperatist droids
32 sets of Destroyer droids (Rolling/Launcher set)
26 sets of Clones
ONE set of Clones with BLUE officer
ONE set of Clones with YELLOW officer
ONE set of Clones with RED officer
ONE set of Clones with GREEN officer
TWO set of JEDI

Nobody needs that many droids, especially the destroyer droids and also BTW the Red droid is cut in two and is not a "whole figure" He likens to the one in the Mace Deluxe set!

Who does Hasbro think was the most predominant droid in Episode II? It was NOT the Destroyer droid, not even the Super Battle droid. While the Super played more of a role than the Destroyer droid, it was the RED battle droid that made up the BULK of the Seperatist army!

This is going to get very ugly trying to collect the variants.

SHAME ON YOU HASBRO.

Now doesn't that seem like a great distribution?

Yeah, I know we could come up with all sorts of realignments to what I just posted. I'm just saying, in comparison to what is to be the rumored case assortment and SHORT PACKING, my particular case assortment would bring the most to collector/army builders/kids. AND with not so many pegwarmers. There would still be a little short packing but not so much that everyone wouldn't be able to get what they want. I dare say that with this kind of distribution they would virtually sell out. (That's if enough people don't mind the fact of less articulation and detail. Like me.)

What do you guys think of this kind of case assortment?

At $11 per set that's $264 +tax which for me is about $19 on this amount bringing the total to $283. That's for 69 figures. That breaks down to $4.10 per figure AFTER tax. Not to bad(Considering you only get two figures with the droid launcher sets. (unless you want to include the launcher itself as a "figure" or in this case maybe 1 part of three. The the figs would then be 72 total for $3.93 a piece AFTER tax.))

Granted they should still be more articulated though.

Man that is not right. I cant believe they are pushing the DD launcher. I have been fortunate enough to by a bunch of army builders, and even though on a hard surface the launcher works very well, it is the worst set of the bunch. I cant believe the cases will only consist of one 3 pack of jedi. Even if you bought duplicates and they are all exactly the same, I dont think it matters. People want jedi and multi colored clones. I already can picture seeing 200 DD launchers stuffing the shelves at retail for $4. I dont like this. and the federation 3 pack, as sal said, the battle droid breaks in half. It is a little better. it does have metal in each piece that seems to be a magnet. it holds a little better than the droid with deluxe mace. I like the set of clones and the droids. But the launcher is just one to get so you have one. I dont think you will be buying much of them. because it is really just paying $10 for one D droid. The one thats rolled up does not un fold. so you can pay $10 and get one of each droid or $10 for one destroyer droid and a big launcher and a rolled up droid tht cant be unfolded

JMS, interesting research on these sets. I wish I were more shocked at how badly Hasbro has set up this case assortment, but looking at their track record, it's no surprise to me at all. Kinda sad though, they could have a good thing going if only they didn't try to push the droids 3pack and Destroyer Droid set so much. (and I still think Hasbro's charging about $3 or $4 too much for such limited figures in one card)

In a perfect world, 1 Jedi 3-pack would be fine, cuz everyone would only want one. Unfortunately, in the real world scalpers want as many as they can get. I can see it now - Jedi 3-packs, only $50-60 EACH, "cuz they are extremely rare, and the only one I have." Then, like with the R2/holo Leia, the scalper will have 10 more in a box under the table. Ditto for the colored clones, specifically the blue and green which will prolly go for $60+! Just hwen you think they could shape up, Hasbro gets worse! Remember those even case assortments we got for 1 year with the end of the POTJ line, and how easy it was to get those figures? I don't think it'll ever happen again.

I am happy to report that the rumored case assortment is wrong, yes WRONG and very much to our favor.

Here is the correct case assortment (and they are both in the same case, Yippee!)


2 Clonetroopers packs (With blue officer each)
2 seperatist droids packs
1 destroyer droid launcher pack
1 Jedi pack


Now if they do the same thing only replace the blue clones with greens and then later yellow and then later reds, we'll all be happy campers as they should be "relatively" easy to find. We can only hope.

OK will there be:

Yellow Clones standing, lying down, or kneeling?

Red Clones kneeling?

Blue Cones kneeling or lying down?

Green Clones standing or lying down?


These are the versions I have NOT seen any pictures of, but could easily be done.

Will the all-White groups continue to ship?


Hasbro also told me at Comic Con that they will be doing a marching Clone. Will this be the super-articulated one you can post that way, or will they see the need to sell 3-packs of marching Clones and do officers amongst them?

I would like to state for the record, that I oppose additional variations of 3 packs, unless Hasbro is planing on releasing a pack of multi-color Clones (ie. 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green). And even then, no more than 1 or 2
sets.

As it is I'm burning $100.00+ (retail) on these sets. Yep, that's all 5 sets X2 (1 MOMC and one to open). On the up side I will have one heck of a Clone Army when this is all said and done. :D I just wish KB Toys wasn't trying to squeeze that extra $3.00 per set, out of buyers. :frus: Luckily, I have only bought 1 set from KB, I found the other sets at Target. Although I have only found 4 sets (Blue and White).

The blue clonetrooper is the wrong blue. it should be torquoise blue not cobalt. The green clonetrooper is also the wrong color, it should be almost an olive green not the dark green it is. The red is too bright and the yellow is too bright where it should be a dark egg yolk yellow.
I don'y really care how they're distributed as long as I get the yellow one. I've got the all white version. the other colors weren't really visible in the movie so i don't need them for what i want clones for.
And let's not forget that hasbro has said we;ll be getting a fifth variant clonetrooper this fall, the one that was originally pictured as the yellow version is set to come in an exclusive set of some description which could be something to do with the super articulated clonetrooper or something different.
Annyhoo I'm only concerned with white clontrooper grunts and the yellow commanding officers. So fear not the multiple purchases of Jargo, those colour variants are safe.

Well we can confirm that the Green pack is shipping as the same case assortment as the Blue.

It looks like this is going to be the trend, so give it up to Hasbro that they got the case assortments right at least with this specific line.

Dang, did Hasbro hire someone new? As long as the White packs keep shipping though. Well maybe not, to be honest I've already lost count of how many 3 packs of White clones I have.

It's somewhere around 8 (3 packs) or more. Now with those 2 blue packs, 19 preview clones, 9 red clones, 6 marching bootlegs and 1 shooting bootleg (I think that's all that I have for now), I'll have a GRAND ARMY of the Republic. 65 clones if I counted right so far and still going...
