I certainly want to buy one, but it's great profit making for Hasbro. Use the AT-ST with slightly different paint, throw in a speederbike, and repaint Wicket. The development of the product is marginal, yet sales will be just as great if they had started from scratch.

Since its a vehicle, I'm guessing its an exclusive, does anyone know for what store though?
I've been lucky with the exclusives this year, I've been able to get all of them so far.

I notice big black spray blodges all over the thing. Well if past experience is anything to go by, Hasbros trained paint monkeys will spray black all over the thing and totally ruin it. Just like with the Y-wing and the electronic FX x-wing and the B-wing...............
Why can't they train these paint applicators or robots or chinese or whoever to do the job properly? That green paint on the legs looks so cool in this promo pic but wait til you get one home, it'll be minimalist paint or covered in green from top to bottom. For the price you pay for the damn 'exclusive' things you'd expect a little more care to be taken in the production of them. I mean all that money for a cheap hunk of plastic? It's obscene when you think about it. It's not even a highly detailed toy at that. The leg mechanism is crude to say the least and the scale is wrong as with all the toy vehicles.
Basically it's a pile of poo. Will I buy it? hell yeah, Are you nuts? :p :Pirate: ARRRRR!

Supposed to be an exclusive for Toys R Us, coming out around Febuary or March. Retail price according to TRU's computer system is 29.99. It's listed there as:
AT-ST with Ewok and Speeder Bike SKN# 472552 $29.99
Hope this answers your questions. :D

If I saw the shelves at your TRU's GNT, I'd passout. What's the going airfare to Sydney right now? I'm gonna go stock up.:crazed:
All kidding aside, everyonce in a while, I'll go into a wal-mart or target that is really in the boon-docks and hit the jackpot. Especially around central Illinois, lot a farm towns, and most people don't know they make toys of star wars.

In all honesty, I think $29.99 is not such a bad price for two vehicles and a figure. The figure alone is $5.99-$6.99. I MIGHT just have to pick this up. We'll have to see what AOTC related good I will be getting (CD, Books, Poster, etc...) before I wish to plunk down any cash on this. I hadn't gotten the originals on these so I suppose it might do me some good get them... ahhhh priorities!
And, Darth Rage, as far as GNT custom avatar at 6 posts... it's 'cos he hit the tilt on the machine! It reset at 2500!!! This is his second go around.

The AT-ST set seems more like crap... Due to it being remolded and the new plastics they're using, it'll probably not stand up as well, not too mention the AT-ST Driver came out what, 6-7 years ago? The Ewok is another Wicket re-hash and the speederbike I'm guessing isn't improved. No doubt these suckers will be shelf-warmers. :D
GNT, if memory serves me correctly, not a whole lot of that stuff was actually shipping to Australia, last I heard, alot of TRUs there only got like 6 cases of the Y-wing total.

Oh well, still looks cool. Funny you mention the AT-ST driver coming out 6-7 years ago, it was actually 5 years ago, but no matter. Even funnier was when they released the AT-ST in the new line in 1995, and then it was 2 years later that Hasbro finally produced the AT-ST driver. :D The ewok has a totally new head this time though, from what I understand. Unlike the cheap pack-in in the Endor globe. Besides, they pretty much all had the same basic bodies anyway, just different fur patterns.

Basically so do humans, with height and weight differences. (Wicket & Logray...) and we have different hair patterns and the human figs get different bodies, it's discrimination toward Ewok figures. :p

It would have to depend on TRU,how much people visit TRU,Where its located etc,So more cases for the bigger stores and not so many cases for the smaller TRUs.Although I wish they could get rid of all the Skiffs with Lukes though or else we wont get this vehicle at all :(

How much are your Ywings and Bwings there?? Maybe with the exchange it would be worth your while to sell them on line.
