The Set Snaps on StarWars.com haven't really shown anything that interesting yet, but today two cool pics came up, one showing Mas Amedda's new costume which I think looks pretty cool, and the other showing a very strange looking blaster designed for a "large species".

I like Amedda's new costume...looks refined. That blaster seems a little odd though. I don't believe I like it and it reminds me of a 5th Element Weapon.

Thats the first thing I thought as well when I saw it. Not very SW looking at all and straight out of the Fifth Element. Hopefully it will be used by some background character and won't be noticable in the film.

2 more interesting snaps today, the Obi-Wan wax double, and a look at a Trade Federation corridor set :).
That wax double is creepy. Looks like a gussied up corpse ready for burial.

Hhhmmm, could this be the evidence to solidify all those Obi-Wan(one) clone theories from the time of the OT!!! :crazed: just kidding! :D

Some more cool pics today. A firepilot, a wookie and a jedi briefing room in the temple :).

WOO! those costumes kick some serious butt. I know JP posted some 'drawings' a while bac but seeing the photos makes it all seem real. The Wookiee is cool though he does look like a grown up Ewok to me. :D Yub yub!

Um...what's a fire-pilot? :p
And is it just me, or does this fire-pilot look a lot like the Imperial Workers from Jedi Knight II? http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/jediknight2jedioutcast/screens.html?page=20

The Jedi briefing room is very interesting.

That wookie makes me think of the Star Wars Holiday Special. Egad, it will probably have some lame lines in this next film.

We can only hope. I'm just joking.

Only one image of interest today - a massive control room! Another snap also gave away a line of dialogue from the film, spoken by Ali Keshavji's Fire Ship pilot:
"Follow us we'll put out what fire we can"
This gives me the impression that there will be more than one fire, possibly an attack on the city :).

More likely it's an immense inferno, taking out a large part of the city center. "put out what fire we can means there's so much fire that it's going to be near impossible to control. Sounds like something forest rangers might say during summertime. The fire is too big for a few firefighters to control in full but they can do what they can to stem it getting any further. Y'follow?
