Anybody pick this up yet??

I'm really disappointed in the special features on this, they didn't take a fraction of the time to put a good one together as they did with both releases of T2...the special features are definitely something to be desired on this T3 dvd. The one that stands out that's the best is the "Sgt. Candy Scene"

I guess I'm spoiled from the T2, SW EP1 and 2, and Shrek dvd special features, I mean, that's part of the charm of dvd's so I think they should be damned good! Of course I LOVE T3 so I'm extremely excited to have it on dvd for the movie's sake, but just disappointed in other arenas...for example, you can make your own "special FX" and I almost fell over in my chair laughing that they actually put this on there...they could have put a bunch of cut footage and behind the scene pics much easier and probably less expensive and more interesting than "this"

Anyway, the movie rocks, the special features don't! Exception being the Sgt. Candy scene :crazed:

It doesn't come out til Tuesday, so you must have found a store that broke street date. Or ordered it online. I agree, the special features are somewhat lacking. But the director already confirmed that this is what he could get ready in time for WB's DVD release date.

He wants to do a T3: Ultimate Edition in the near future with more extras. He would have had it done for this release, if WB hadn't been in such a rush to get it out on video. So look forward to a super-duper edition in the not to distant future, probably next year sometime. :)

Scruffy, it's not been confirmed for sure. It could end up being like the Resident Evil SE. And basically never end up happening. I would recommend getting the current DVD, especially since it will only be $15.99 on release day. Especially since Arnold is on the Commentary. :D

I can't wait to get ahold of this dvd. It's how I'm spending the day after Thanksgiving. Full Arnold action.

Well this IS California after all...a "State of Waste" as the news says...there'll be a full report this week LOL

Anyhoo, yeah "some" store broke the date last week and I got a copy but the full dvdrom/internet site is not up yet as far as I can tell....it says "access denied" meh! I'll wait until this Tuesday I suppose.

Well, I've already watched the movie 3 times and love being able to repeat scenes and take them in slow mo...that's another favorite thing to do with dvds and this "super uper duper" T3 dvd you speak of JJB sounds fabulous..if it comes out I'll be sure to grab it as well! I can never have enough of Terminator stuff :)

Stores break streetdate all the time. Which is really suprising, since they can get fined so much for doing so. You would think that that hanging over their heads, they'd learn not to do it. But I've found movies in the past early at K-Mart and Wal-Mart (The Biggest Offenders).

I really wish they wouldn't have made him rush to get it out on DVD so quick. I'd rather have one decent loaded release, then several. But like T2, I guess I'll end up wit two copies in my collection. The 2-disc (yay) Ultimate Edition, and the 2-disc Extreme Edition. :)

Hey, I'll be happy as long like they do with LOTR, e.g., putting totally different extras on each version of the DVD. I would be mad if they just recycled everything from the initial release.

Are there any deleted scenes with Alana Curry aka "Bill's Girlfriend" in the movie?
She's a nice dame, we met her at a convention a few months ago, but if you blink twice you'll miss her in the movie. :D

I was hoping that they actually cut some footage of her because she was kinda hyped up as being in the movie . . . and we barely see her. :D
Anyway, she's cool and I'm hoping she's in a few more clips? I have a feeling that they shot footage of her getting killed by the tasty TX but it probably got trimmed out. :)
