View Full Version : Are there any good ESB documentaries available?

I was watching "From SW to Jedi" again and while I do really enjoy it, I feel it is too focused on RotJ.

I have the Apple Jacks Making of SW vid, and that's pretty neat, but I feel more needs to be out there regarding the making of ESB.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, if one exists?

I hope they dig up those old "making of's" and put them on the DVDs.

I seem to remember after each movie came out a making of show appeared on network. After Jedi came out, they took the best of the previous ones and incorporated them into the Jedi one, which eventually became From Star Wars to Jedi.

Is the Apple Jacks version the same as the origianl 70's making of video or is it different?

Hey, this is an oldie ! :D

I'm not sure as to the authenticity of the Apple Jacks video.
As far as ESB docs go, I'm pretty certain the box for "From SW to Jedi" shows a man working with an AT-AT model . . . but it's not in the actual show.

I wonder why they slighted ESB? There should have been all sorts of stuff, like Vader telling Luke that Obi-Wan killed his father . . . tons of footage has to be out there, so I hope your DVD wish comes true. :)
