I was wondering if anyone has won one of the daily prizes on the Hasbro site? If so have you received your stuff and what was it? I was a winner about 6 weeks ago, but I still haven't received any e-mails or the items from Hasbro. So I was just wondering how long it took for you winners to get your items.

Oh sure, boast about it........ :D Hey, congrats to you, but to answer your question, I haven't won. Thanks for the reminder, but I'm not sure if I entered today already. I'm also trying to win some of the goodies they are drawing December 2nd on Cartoon Network.

nick83, hey did you ever get your stuff from this contest? I assume your talking about the "5 daily winners contest" that they have going on now through December 15th, the one that has you enter your e-mail address and password, then has you pick one of 4 prize/toys. The reason I ask is, I just won myself about $100 worth of Star Wars toys, and I was curious as to what they sent you. I was told that it takes about 2 to 4 weeks to get my winnings! This is almost better than going to the casino! Very cool! Can you tell that I'm excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

BTW, here is the link in case you want to sign up to enter:

You have five more days, at one entry a day, to win!

I was mistaken when I first said it had been 6 weeks on my first post. It had only been 4, but I did receive the stuff. I received it last Tuesday so it took 7 weeks to receive the items. They sent me an e-mail before they sent the items.

(We would like to congratulate you again on being one of the winners in
Hasbro's daily Instant Win promotion, "What's In the Toy Chest / Game Room?"

With the holidays upon us, we want to apologize for the delay in sending you
your toys and / or games.

Due to popular demand, we are running behind schedule in getting the prizes
shipped. However we want you to know we have not forgotten about your prize,
have ordered the toys and / or games and plan to ship them to you over the
next one to two weeks.

Thank you for your interest in Hasbro products and promotions. Let us know
if you have further questions.

Sincerely,
Hasbro Consumer Affairs)

Here is a list of the items I received.
Hoth Trooper 2004
Destroyer Droid Saga
Jango Pilot
Han Hoth Blue coat
Janus Greejatus
Unleashed Darth Maul
Unleashed Boba Fett
Unleashed Jango Fett
12 Inch Yoda saga
12 Inch Ewok Two pack Saga

Cool, I wonder if I'll get the same stuff, or something different? I could actually use some of the figures that you have listed, so winning them would save me the cost of buying them.

Did you get the e-mail right away? I've been checking my inbox, but so far nothing from Hasbro proving that I wasn't dreaming last night at 1 am when I got through!

I got the e-mail about 4-5 weeks after I had originally won. I think the only reason they sent it was because they were running behind on shipping out the prizes. Thanks for the congrats Tonysmo.

nick83, If you don't mind me asking, what condition did your prize(s) arrive? I mean do they look like stuff that Hasbro got back with dings and creases? Did they pack them with enough peanuts or bubble wrap to get them to you in good shape? It's going to be a long 6 weeks!

nick83
12-14-2003, 10:31 PM
The stuff arrived in okay condition. Most of it looked like it had shelf wear, but the 12inch Yoda's window was split from top to bottom. The packing consist of the stuff and some brown paper lightly placed in the box. If you are a non opener most of the stuff would be considered C-6.5-C-8.

well, it took just under 3 weeks to get here, not bad at all, and the poster is great! it is printed on a plastic film, that if you had a light box to put it in it would look like you were at the theater. I would hang it in 'the halls of the jedi order' myself.
I hope that they will have more things to win that will not need soo many points,i'm down to my last 400 or so. i miss the clone wars cartoon poster, that would be nice to get. anyway good luck out there.

Yes, winning Star Wars toys, without having to submit JMP's is pretty cool. I haven't bought a lot because I'm waiting to see what prizes I get. The stuff nick83 won, I have some already, but there are things that he won, that I do not yet own.

Congatulations on your JMP winnings Lazer Brain! I didn't check out the poster as I was turned off by the initial auction when this whole thing started.

Okay, well hopefully these will work, as the big picture was moved or whatever. I don't know I was as suprised as you guys, but at least I got a few figures that I didn't have, like the 12" Biker Scout.

Okay, I'm not seeing the attachments, this seems to be all over everywhere, including the "Post a Picture of yourself". At first I thought it was just my pictures/attachments, but I noticed several other peoples were missing as well. Hopefully this will get fixed so you can see this beautiful figure.

Sorry Turbo, but I was having issues with the pictures not showing up, but SirSteve has since fixed that. Then I had to work, but now I'm home! Anyway, I entered an online contest that Hasbro had in November until December 15th. You had to enter your name and password on Hasbros site, and then you had to pick one of four doors. You could only enter once a day. I kept trying for over a month, then duuring the last week, I tried at around 1 am, and I got through, and 1 was one of 5 winners that day. They sent me a random assortment of Star Wars toys. Like Nick83 stated when he started this thread, he had also won. His list of items he won is about the same, some newer stuff, some older. I think he got the 12" Ewoks, but I got a Biker Scout :D but if you go to the first or second page, I believe he listed his winnings. I was also very surprised when I found the good general in my box! Hope that answers your question!

The General is #12 in the '04 series. I don't have numbers on the rest of the Yavin wave, as this was the only figure I got from this wave.

BTW, I've already given away the Maul and Jango unleashed, as well as the 3 3/4 inch snowtrooper. I already had 2 of each, one opened, and one carded, so I gave them to my friends in the area. :sur:

Boba on the back of the card, on the newer figures, under them should be the numbers

bobafrett

Oh, I see, there are two figures on the back of the card that look like they are from the Yavin series.

TIE Fighter Pilot (Battle of Yavin) #14

Dutch Vander, Gold Leader (Battle of Yavin) #13

Then it has Captain Antilles (Tantive IV Invasion) listed as #15
and Holographic Luke Skywalker (Jabba's palace) listed as #11

So does this mean we are only getting three figures in the Yavin series? Dodonna, Dutch, and the TIE pilot? I never realized they were clumped together like that.

Kidhuman

I don't recall off hand how I heard about it. I think Hasbro may have sent me an e-mail inviting me to enter the contest. But I did see a link on the Hasbro page for the contest when I would be directed to the Hasbro website for more info on a story here on SirSteves. Does that make sense? Basically if you go sign up at Hasbro you can enter various contests that they have from time to time, I think the newest one has to do with LOTR swords they are giving away but you need to buy a LOTR game to get the code to enter for that contest.

I am using my real name(or a sort version for Nicholas) as my screen name. But I didn't win the stuff under my name. I entered me, my mom, and my nephew every day and my mom won. Sheron is the name listed as the winner. Congrats on all the cool stuff you got bobafrett. :D
